The Hood tells his cult to clone Jack Russell

The Werewolf by Night’s blood connection with Chthon’s original werewolves serves as a powerful sacrificial link necessary for the construction of a new Darkhold. Instead of sending his forces to slaughter, The Hood has a monstrous new plan to rival the Werewolf by Night.

Chthon's Thrall Hound destroys a traitorous vampire.

The last time the Darkholders faced the Werewolf by Night, they proved no match for his overwhelming strength alongside

Moon Knight’s help
and Elsa Bloodstone. The supernatural cult successfully made off with a portion of Jack’s flesh, but not enough to extract enough energy. The Hood chastises his lackluster cult by noting that they don’t need Jack Russells when they have the components to make your own. As Jack and Elsa fight to defend themselves from the wild politics of the WildlandsA treacherous scheme unfolds within the ranks of the Darkholders.

As a small group of rebels march towards the Hood’s quarters, they are met by the occult criminal mastermind and the Darkholders’ previous leader, Dorgana. Silently seething over the insubordination that has raged in their ranks, The Hood reveals the cult’s newest weapona zombified, Frankenstein’s monster style, monstrous

werewolf perversion at night
. Nicknaming the damned creature “Slave Dog of Chthon,” Hood and Dorgana unleash the beast upon the traitors of their organization, watching as it gruesomely tears apart their bodies and feeds on their entrails.

It’s only fair that the Herald of Chthon is a monstrosity of his own design

The Hound Thrall of Chthon is the grotesquely perfect mix of nostalgic monster movies and blood-curdling body horror.

The Thrall Hound looks a supernatural mix of classic movie monsters. His wild nature is controlled only by the command of The Hood and Dorgana. His body swells to Hulk-like proportions, completely dwarfing Jack Russel in his wolf form. However, this creature shouldn’t be a completely unique creation considering it was partially cloned from a piece of Jack Russell meat. In one panel, the beast is seen wearing torn pants and boots, suggesting that there may be a human host inside it, supporting the weight of

Chthon’s dark influence.

The Hood has proven time and time again that his immense occult knowledge and serious desire to dominate led to the creation of one of the simplest yet terrifying Marvel concepts to come along in years. The Hound Thrall of Chthon is the grotesquely perfect mix of nostalgic monster movies and blood-curdling body horror. Somewhere else in the world, Chthon has recently been freed and now has a new herald, perfectly representative of his original creations. Certainly in the coming months, the Werewolf at night will have to test his strength against his chthonic abomination of a clone.
