The biggest problem with including Hope Van Dyne in a female Avengers project is the fact that Evangeline Lilly announced that she will be stepping away from acting. Lily has played Hope since her first appearance in Ant-Man, and while the MCU has recast several characters before, it’s unclear if they’ll go the same way with Hope Van Dyne. There is always a chance that she may come back, but it may be small.

Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet Van Dyne, AKA The Wasp

As the owner of the Quantum Bands, Ms. Marvel is remarkably powerful, so there’s no doubt she’ll be an MCU mainstay.
