Peter Parker Spider-Man has faced some cruel enemies, but his next battle against the Predator will have it wishing he was trading punches with the Green Goblin. In the last confrontation between the Marvel Universe and the world of Predatorthe friendly neighborhood wall-crawler will face a Yautja with a difference – this one is not restricted by any concept of 'honor'.
When requesting information disclosed by Wonderfans see for the first time Predator vs Spider-Man. Coming from Benjamin Percy (Predator vs. Wolverine) and Marcelo Ferreira (Amazing Spider-Man: Blood Hunt), the four-part miniseries will see Spider-Man face “Flayer” – a Yautja who avoids the species' usual obsession with personal honor. This means there are no limits to the terror that is about to hit New York.

Similar to iconic Predator 2, Predator vs Spider-Man will see a Yautja hunting in an urban environment, with Spider-Man fighting to protect the innocents of New York. Speaking to Marvel, Spencer says:
Spider-Man is at the top of every writer's wish list. I'm thrilled and grateful to have this opportunity, pitting this beloved webslinger against the galaxy's greatest hunters in the urban jungle of New York. It's so much fun to live in Peter Parker's world – and put my own wild spin on his relationships with MJ, Jonah Jameson and (yes – oh, yes) Kraven. Marcelo Ferreira captures Spidey's visual dynamism so well, and we had a lot of fun designing a Predator unlike any other. This Yautja — who we call Skinner — has no code or clan. He's the perfect nightmarish foil to Parker's big heart.

At the same time as publishing Predator and Foreigner comic book series under its new 20th Century Studios imprint, Marvel has begun launching crossovers, where heroes like Wolverine, Black Panther and the Avengers face off against the big screen's iconic aliens. But while Wolverine repeatedly clashed with an honorable Yautja to kill him and Black Panther had to fend off an invasion aimed at conquering Wakanda, Spider-Man is destined for a courageous, personal fight against the ultimate hunter – albeit the inclusion of Kraven in the story means the title is up for grabs.
Spider-Man is a famously empathetic hero who often goes out of his way to rehabilitate his villains. However, in Skinner's case, nothing short of death will stop the Predator of your hunt. Ryan Brown's gorgeous variant cover (above) shows the two going head-to-head, with Spider-Man's ripped costume showing just how intense this confrontation will be.
So far, Marvel's Predator vs.…the titles have been a lot of fun, as superhuman powers clash against alien devices. With his enhanced strength, Spider-Sense and webs, Spider-Man has a better chance than most of taking down the alien hunter, however, this advantage may not matter against a Predator this will do anything to claim your prize.
