Marvel has a new war brewing and it will make the Infinity Saga look easy

The Infinity Saga is one of Marvel crowning achievements in comics and films – but a new war is striking the Marvel Universe. From the comics to the MCU’s first climax, fans everywhere know about the Infinity Stones, the Infinity Gauntlet, and the Mad Titan Thanos. But now Marvel is setting the stage for a new war in its main comic continuity and will make the Infinity Saga seems like a piece of cake for the Avengers.

In several issues related to many Marvel titles, Doom will impose his will on heroes such as the Fantastic Four, the X-Men and others, including in Fantastic Four #29 by event architect Ryan North and artist Cory Smith.

The impossible happened! DOCTOR DOOM has conquered the world! And the Fantastic Four will NOT let that happen. While Reed locks himself in his lab, trying to solve the Doom Problem, Ben invites Sue on a trip to New York with their mutual friend, JEN “SHE-HULK” WALTERS, to help her forget things. But tensions after vampires invaded the world in their Blood Hunt remain, and when Ben, Sue and Jen find themselves on the wrong side of mob justice, they face a choice… and one they won’t be able to take back. !

Unlike the Infinity Saga, however, the heroes are still fractured after the vampiric outbreak, while Doom’s control over the world remains tight. This time, however, it’s not just the Fantastic Four against Doctor Doom, like the rest of Marvel history – but the entire world.

Doctor Doom threatens the Marvel universe with a war bigger than Thanos

A world under destruction Main cover #1 by Ben Harvey

Comic book cover: Marvel's Avengers and the Fantastic Four kneel in front of the magic-using Doctor Doom.

A world under destruction is Marvel’s next big event. It’s already changing the face of the planet, in addition to the faces of some heroes who sided with Doom, who are wearing his iconic mask and green colors. Since his debut as a villain in the Fantastic Four in 1962, The Fantastic Four #5 by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, Doctor Doom has surpassed his original enemies. Leaving the Fantastic Four behind, he became one of the greatest villains in Marvel history, surpassing even Thanos.

The Fantastic Four will need all the help they can get to fight Doom.

Thanos needed the Infinity Stones to wreak havoc. Doom, on the other hand, is Marvel’s smartest villain, and just when the world’s heroes were at their most desperate during the events of Eternal Night of Blood Hunt, Doctor Doom made a deal with Doctor Strange, becoming the next Sorcerer Supreme. His new powers allow him to carry out his plan, which has been in the works for a long time. – total domination of the world with Doom as the only dictator. The Fantastic Four will need all the help they can get to fight him.

Fantastic Four #29 Variant cover by Erik M. Gist

Fantastic Four 29 cover variant with the Fantastic Four being sucked into Doctor Doom's magical energy

Doctor Doom isn’t just Marvel’s smartest villain. He also proved that he can beat Superman, something Thanos never did. Node Infinity Saga, the Avengers had to fight off-world to save the universe, but in A World Under Perdition, Earth itself is at stake, making this war much less idealistic and much more personal. Also surprising is the fact that Reed Richards’ scientific knowledge will be of no use against Doom’s sorcery. Doom has finally evolved beyond his petty battles with the Fantastic Four and has even evolved beyond the need of science: he is a god now.

In A World Under Perdition, Marvel’s broken heroes are having their next big war, and it’s shaping up to be bigger than ever. Infinity Saga. Compared to Doom, Thanos was a petty villain with small goals. Doctor Doom has become a god with his magical powers, his intelligence and his ambition, and this will require all of his effort. Marvel heroes to stop him.
