A world under destruction is Marvel’s next big event. Node Infinity Saga, the Avengers had to fight off-world to save the universe, but in A World Under Perdition, Earth itself is at stake, making this war much less idealistic and much more personal. Also surprising is the fact that Reed Richards’ scientific knowledge will be of no use against Doom’s sorcery. Doom has finally evolved beyond his petty battles with the Fantastic Four and has even evolved beyond the need of science: he is a god now.
