With almost forty Battle Plugs available Throughout the game, it can be difficult to decide which ones you want to use. This will be even more difficult if you are not sure what make the combos you want for even more powerful effects. However, players will have to keep a few things in mind when getting into the details.

You are going have some Battle Plugs available to you from the beginning of the game, but these will not be the ones that have the most powerful effects. Instead, players I want to find Lumenadewhich can be purchased from Sprite Bulbs. Once you have enough, you can use Lumenade to create new Battle Plugs.

Battle Plugs do not have unlimited uses. Once you equip one, it will slowly lose its charge over time. Once exhausted, you will have to exchange it for a different one. Your unequipped Battle Plugs will be recharge over time while they are in storage, allowing you to use them again when they are fully charged and ready to use.

Once you have a Battle Plug you would like to use, it can be equipped on one of the Brothers Power Tap sockets. This is an equipment slot that can hold a Battle Plug, although this expands over time. You are going start with two sockets for Battle Plugsbut you will earn more as the game progresses. This will allow you to open up even more possibilities and have more powerful options available to defeat any boss in Mario and Luigi: Brotherhood you come across.

However, once triggered, these combos will be key to winning the game.

There is three main battle plugs these will be the basic building blocks for any combination you make. To help you out, check the table above to see a description and statistics for all three. You can see an example of what it looks like when a Battle Plug combo comes together on YouTuber Memes Lordvideo above.

Kaboom boosted

  • Attack Boost + Kaboom Attack

This one is simple but satisfying as it will grant you the effect of generating more impact waves if you have both Battle Plugs equipped. Impact Waves are a type of AOE that is usually generated by the Kaboom Attack itself. However, with the additional effect, you will do more damage than you would alone. Attack Boost also allow Kaboom’s Hammer attack to do even more damageensuring a very efficient attack synergy with just these two.

Surprise Iron Impulse

  • Attack Boost + Surprise Iron Ball

The extra hits and extra damage from the Attack Boost are used again with this combo. You will achieve all the benefits of this Battle Plug while generating extra iron balls fall on your enemies. Also, when you have more sockets, add a third Battle Plug that can provide extra critical hitsyou will do even more damage than before.

Iron Ka Ball

  • Kaboom Attack + Surprise Iron Ball

This is a great combo for when you’re surrounded by enemies, as Kaboom Attack’s AOE will be paired with a devastating rain of iron balls. This is because each enemy hit by the Kaboom Attack’s impact waves will also receive an iron ball thrown at them. Add an Attack Boost to this combo when you have more sockets and you will have all effects of the last three combos to deal devastating damage across the board.

KaboomBOOM

  • Kaboom Attack + Kaboom Attack

If you double these Battle Plugs you can get a impact wave that affects all enemiesnot just a specific radius. This will make any other combo with Kaboom Attack more devastating too, so you can make anything hit much harder and hit many more enemies. You can unlock the second Kaboom Attack after crafting 17 Battle Plugsso keep creating more to be able to unlock this combo.

Bigger ball

  • Surprise Iron Ball + Surprise Iron Ball

As with the previous one, you can unlock a second Surprise Iron Ball after creating 17 Battle Plugs. This will allow you to get double the damage from this Battle Plug. If you want make the iron balls hit as hard as they canespecially if combined with Kaboom Attack as well, it might be worth making your attacks hit a lot harder as you get into the game cycle of Mario and Luigi: Brotherhood.

Ka-Specialist

  • Kaboom Attack + Any Specialized Plug

If you add a Specialized Battle Plug In addition to the Kaboom attack, you will target any enemy that falls into this category for extra damage. For example, if you use the Anti-Flying Specialist Plug, you will target any enemies in Kaboom attack radius with even more damage. This means you can hit them even harder if you add other Plugs from the previously mentioned combos. This can lead to clearing the battlefield in one hit if you choose the right Specialist Plug for the mission.

Specialized Plugs:

  • Anti-Flying Specialist
  • Anti-Spike Specialist
  • Anti-Army Specialist
  • Anti-Zokket Specialist
  • Anti-Glohm Specialist

Status explosion

  • Kaboom Attack + Plug any status ailment

This combination allows you spread any status ailments inflicted by the second Battle Plug with the impact wave of the Kaboom Attack. This means that if you inflict fire damage, for example, you will spread that fire to all enemies within the impact wave. This works with any status issues, and spreading them like crazy will help you win fast and prevent enemies from hurting you in return.

Plugs for status illnesses:

  • dizzying attack
  • Flame Attack
  • Cold Attack

Burn dizzy, ice dizzy and hot, cold and dizzy

  • Dizzying Attack + Status Ailment Plug

These three combos are different versions of the same combo. Any of them will give you the Dizzy status illness along with one of the other two. The last one will give you all three. Additionally, all of these combos will do more damage, but this combo is not the best to use in the wild. Combine one of these combos with a Kaboom Attack for a much more devastating wave of attacks instead of.

Widely specialized

Likewise, the joint use of either of the two previously mentioned specialized plugs also increase your damage. Again, the more you combine and deal, the stronger the damage and effects will be.

Defensive Combos

  • automatic syrup bottle/automatic mushroom + luxury automatic

Using any of the Battle Plugs utilities with a Deluxe Auto will allow you to always use a recovery item when necessarybut will also choose the most efficient one in your inventory to restore the stats you need most. This can be useful if you have trouble remembering to recover, but the other more offensive combos will be the most useful in the long run, as you don’t need to recover if your enemies don’t survive the first attack.
