Luke Skywalker wasn’t the only Jedi working with the rebels in the original trilogy

One recent recon made by Star Wars proved that Luke Skywalker was not the only Jedi who served in the forces of the Rebel Alliance. like Star Wars has developed, more and more Jedi, specifically Order 66 survivors, have entered the picture – even in the original trilogy era. Despite this, many of the Force-sensitive warriors have had excuses in canon for not appearing with Luke during the events of the original trilogy, or at least an explanation for why Luke was considered to be the “only” Jedi. . Now, however, that may not be the case.

A recon of Star Wars Outlaws That officially dates the Great Purge of Mandalore, first mentioned in The MandalorianIn 3 ABY – a year in-universe before the Battle of Endor – proves that Luke is not the only Jedi active in rebel forces during the Galactic Civil War. The Ahsoka Series made it clear that Ahsoka Tano was training Sabine Wren as her Padawan when the Great Purge happenedAnd that this was the biggest reason why the two finally went their separate ways. The Purge is set during the Galactic Civil War meaning the two were also training at the time.

The Ahsoka Series, however, also revealed that The Rebel Alliance General Hera Sindulla was also in close contact with the Master and Apprentice duo during that time.. Based on Hera’s knowledge of the couple’s history, it is clear that she was in contact with them during the war, even as an active general in the forces of the Rebel Alliance. Knowing this, it seems impossible that Ahsoka and Sabine, who have both previously dedicated much of their lives to the rebel cause, will end the galactic conflict that ultimately caused the galactic empire to fall.

What did Ahsoka and Sabine do during the Galactic Civil War?

Why was Luke the only active Force-sensitive in the conflict?

Ahsoka and Sabine Block Lightsaber Bolts

If Ahsoka and Sabine were indeed around to help during the Galactic Civil War, the nature of their role remains in question. Obviously, they weren’t present in any of the major battles seen in the original trilogy – at least, not in the same way Luke was. It could be that Ahsoka and Sabine focused on small conflicts happening on other worldsPerhaps trying to minimize any damage the Empire tried to do outside the front lines of the war. Regardless, it is clear that these two somehow played a role, even if the role remains unclear.

This is an exciting development, but also a cautious one. Star Wars Enthusiasts have always been very protective of the story, especially what George Lucas developed in the original and prequel trilogies, and more Force sensitives at this time can lead to some problems if proper explanations are not provided. Seeing as Ahsoka and Sabine wouldn’t go into seclusion when the galaxy needed them most, though, it seems pretty certain that Star Wars Will eventually have a proper story about what this duo was up to at the time.
