The show is likely looking to the future
With the first loss of a key cast member, Juliette Lewis (who played the adult Nat) and a more muted response to Season 2, it could be that the team behind the popular thriller are trying to put the focus on what’s next. the Yellow Jackets characters instead of trying to fill in some blanks. As the co-creators begin the Season 3 press tour over the next few months, either way, they’ll have the opportunity to detail what happened with the bonus episode.
Yellow Jackets Season 3 will premiere on February 14, 2025, streaming first on Paramount+ with Showtime and then airing two days later on Showtime.
