What the Love Hurts trailer says about the movie
Ke Huy Quan finally gets the spotlight
Love hurts Looks to continue Quan’s resurgence with acting after his Oscar-winning return Everything everywhere all at once. Interestingly, the trailer also points to the film replicating some of what worked about the 2022 multiverse drama in casting Quan as a mild-mannered character who suddenly shows an incredible ability to fight, even if the plot explanation for this is different. Between the two. It is said that the star uses the same martial arts skills in which he showed Everything everywhere all at onceNotably the scene in which he fights off multiple people with a fanny pack.

Our take on the Love Hurts trailer
Kwan may have a franchise on his hands
Although it remains to be seen if the film proves original enough to stand apart from its genre companions, the Love hurts Trailer is certainly a promising sign of the movie continuing the recent winning streaks of Quan and 87North. Considering Nobody 2 Has found a way to expand on his seemingly well-done original, the success of the new action-comedy could even see Quan get a franchise of his own to lead if it proves to be a hit. Given how much work he’s done to establish himself as a strong performer after a nearly 20-year acting hiatus, I’d love to see him get the chance to lead a character beyond a single project.
