Leaked Genshin Impact 5.3 images appear to confirm devastating character loss

Leaked images of Genshin Impact 5.3 has been shared and the video appears to confirm the death of a highly rumored character near the end of the Archon Quests added with the patch. Version 5.3 should add the final missions to Natlan's main story, concluding the arc set in the Pyro Nation and the region's efforts to fend off the Abyss invasion. This has been achieved with some success in previous missions, but the solution may come with the update, which is also expected to add several new characters to the game, including the Pyro Traveler and Mavuika in Genshin Impact.

This article may contain spoilers for events that take place in the Version 5.3 Archon Quests.

The patch is expected to be a big one, not only concluding Natlan's story arc and adding four new playable characters, but also hosting the annual Lantern Rite Festival event in 2025. With what is expected to be an epic conclusion to this year's major content region and what is considered the biggest annual event, players should be busy with activities. The patch's beta tests began almost a month ago and with them came several leaks about the content, such as an update to character building in Genshin Impact 5.3.

All of Natlan's playable characters appear

While most of the new playable content has already been leaked, the latest leaks reveal several key narrative points that have been largely obscured until now. New leaked images of Archon Missions in version 5.3 were shared in a post on Redditrevealing an important moment in history. As is mentioned by the leak, the footage is from the end of the Version 5.3 Archon Quests, when the Traveler has the opportunity to speak to all the key figures who helped him in Natlán in Genshin Impact.

The video shows the female Traveler, Lumine, standing in Natlan, with several important Natlan characters around her. It is possible to see Xilonen, Ororon, Citlali, Chasca, Mualani, Kachina, Kinich, Iansã and Mavuika. The video doesn't show interactions with each of these characters, but it's likely that all of these units will be available for a conversation with the Traveler after the main conflict in Natlan is resolved.. There are also other standard NPCs in the area, including a Fatui Agent, who can reveal more details about a notable absence: Capitano in Genshin Impact.

Rumors indicate that the Fatui Harbinger will not survive

Although he was initially portrayed as an antagonist in Natlan, Capitano played an important role in Natlan's story. He even became an ally of the Traveler and other Natlan characters while fighting alongside them against the Abyss, ordering his Fatui troops to also help in the endeavor. Given his participation in Natlan's story arc thus far, Capitano's absence from the final encounter is questionable.but it may suggest another strong rumor: Capitano's death in Genshin Impact 5.3. His absence may be an indication that he did not survive the events of the patch.

He could have left the Pyro Nation shortly after the conflict was resolved, leaving behind a Fatui agent to speak on his behalf, but speculation that he will eventually die is very strong. The first hints of this come from the game. Capitano revealed that he is a survivor of Khaenri'ah, but unlike Dainsleif, the tricks to maintain his longevity are not very strong. As such, his power weakened and his body began to corrode. Capitano has indicated that he is a walking corpse, even if he is still capable of challenging Mavuika in Genshin Impact.

Furthermore, there have been several discussions about Capitano's possible death. A leaked audio file for version 5.3 draws a connection between “captain” and “tombstone”In a way that his death should occur in the patch. This adds to rumors that the First of Eleven Fatui Harbingers will not be playable in the near future – and this could very well happen because the character himself will not be alive to, technically, become a member of the Traveler's troupe.

Additionally, another leak suggested the possibility of Capitano's passing. There was a leak about how players unlock the Pyro Traveler in version 5.3, and it shows the main character speaking to Mavuika in an area in Ochkanatlan that is now available to visit as of version 5.2. The big problem with the leak is that, Unlike the current state of the area, the leaked image shows it to be encased in ice, and speculation is that Capitano sealed a gate to the Abyss and that he may have died in the process..

The interesting thing about this is that the leaked audio file is supposedly called “Tombstone of Captain Cinder City”And Cinder City is the name of Ochkanatlan. The ice wall seen in the leak is located in what appears to be one of the most important points in Ochkanatlan, although it currently has no function. All signs point to Ochkanatlan being Capitano's last stand, where he can sacrifice himself to stop the Abyss from entering Natlan.. There are several theories that he may be reborn in Natlan later, but this is all speculation.

Speculation arises from the idea that Capitano may have forged an Ancient Name for himself in Natlan, thanks to his deeds in protecting the Pyro Nation. Even if he dies, theories mention that Capitano could return through an Ode to Resurrection in the future, but that remains to be seen. All of these leaks should always be taken with a grain of salt, but there are piles of leaks in addition to plausible theories that make it difficult to believe that Capitano will make it out alive from the conclusion of Natlan's story arc in Genshin Impact 5.3.
