Southern Charm season 9 has come to an end and now Southern Charm season 10 isn’t too far away. The Bravo series made waves in early 2014 when the first season of the popular reality show aired. It started with some current cast members such as Craig Conover, Shep Rose and Whitney Sudler-Smith, as well as Kathryn Dennis, Thomas Ravenel, Cameran Eubanks and Jenna King. The cast has completely changed since the first season and has focused more on the women of the series than the men; also created spin-offs such as Southern Hospitality.

The main storylines of the season were Shep and Taylor and Olivia and Austen’s breakups. Both couples broke up around the same time, and some of them began to lean on each other for support, especially Taylor and Austen. Rumors about Taylor and Austen’s hookup began to swirl, and both Taylor and Austen admitted that they kissed. This greatly affected Taylor and Olivia’s friendship, and it’s unclear if the two will ever become friends again.

Southern Charm season 10 is set to return in December, which was confirmed in October. Southern Charm season 9 did well in terms of ratings, according to TV Details. The lowest ratings they had were for episode 5, which was 514,000 viewers, and the season high was for episode 7, which was 702,000 viewers. The ratings are quite high for a Bravo show, so it’s no surprise that Southern Charm season 10 is returning this year.

THE release date for Southern Charm season 10 is Thursday, December 5th. Since the new season airs later in the year, that means it’s been over a year since Season 9 aired and just under a year since the reunion aired. Bravo took some time to release Southern Charm Season 10, but judging by the trailer, it looks like Season 10 would be the best yet.
The time that Southern Charm Air is everywhere from the beginning. Seasons 1 and 2 aired in March, while seasons 3 through 6 aired between April and May. Season 7 aired in October, Season 8 in June, with the most recent season airing in September. The last three seasons have aired during the second half of the year, so it’s not shocking that Southern Charm season 10 premieres in early December.

The cast for Southern Charm season 10 has been confirmed, along with the release date and trailer. Returning from last season are Shep, Craig, Austen, Taylor, Madison, Venita, JT and Leva. Rodrigo Reyes was also promoted from friend of the cast to full-time cast member. Southern Charm season 10 also has several newcomers, including Salley Carson, Molly O’Connell and Ryan Albertwho is a close friend of Patricia Altschul. The cast’s chemistry Southern Charm Season 9 was great, so it’s not surprising that most of last season’s cast returned.
The cast underwent a small change before season 9, after they announced Kathryn’s departure from Southern Charm. This came as a surprise to fans, but his departure allowed new people to enter. Southern Charm season 9 introduced Rod, Rodrigo and JT. So far, all three guys have been successful on the show in their own way, so it’s no surprise that Rodrigo and JT have returned. Madison also returned as a full-time cast member this year and once again returned as a full-time cast member.
Despite Kathryn’s shocking exit, it looks like there may be hope for her return in the future. During the Southern Charm panel at BravoCon 2023 (via Deadline), Craig revealed that he and Shep filmed with her in Season 9; however, the scene was never aired. Craig even said he hopes Kathryn returns to the show one day. This could mean that Kathryn could make a cameo this season.
When was the Southern Charm season 10 movie?
Southern Charm season 10 probably started filming about a year ago. In recent years, Southern Charm it was filmed at the beginning of the year, usually starting between January and February and ending a few months later in March or April. The timeline is evident through Southern Charm Season 7, which was filmed just before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, for Southern Charm season 10, it looks like they started filming sometime in the fall of 2023 and will probably finish sometime in early to mid 2024.

The Southern Charm season 10 trailer starts off with a little drama, but quickly moves into the fun and gaming part of the season. So far, it seems exes Austen and Madison are officially on good terms after their intense split in 2020. Shep also spends some time with Patrica driving her Rolls-Royce, but it looks like she needs a little more practice. However, South Carolina residents don’t have to stay at their base for long as they are traveling with the cast to the Bahamas.
Next, the trailer introduces the newcomers, starting with Molly. She is friends with Madison, even though she refers to Molly as “strange in a good way” in the trailer. After Madison’s comment, the trailer immediately cuts to Molly playing the trombone. Then, while with Madison, Molly admits to “sexting” with Craig back in the day. Salley is introduced while talking to Madison and Paige DeSorbo from Summer housewho is dating Craig. Salley reveals that Taylor is dating her exGaston Rojas. She even admits that she has slept with Shep before.
The most talked about part of the trailer is JT admitting to Venita that he is attracted to herto which she responds that she feels the same. However, it doesn’t look like JT will have a great season. The trailer then cuts to Craig telling Patrica that JT called her “bitch,” and she didn’t seem too happy about it. Madison supports Patrica and even said outside of the show that she and JT don’t get along this season.
Austen and Shep are seen talking about Craig and how he’s changed, but Craig tells Austen to basically get over it. Shep is then seen telling Craig that he is in love after meeting Ms. Bahamas, but Madison and Patricia think she’s simply a fan. Towards the end of the trailer, a lot of drama ensues, most of it aimed at JT and with some tears from Venita and Madison; Even Taylor and Salley got it. Once again, another season of Southern Charm that fans don’t want to miss.
