A video game adaptation of the classic Nickelodeon series Avatar: The Last Airbender Coming soon. Arriving from 2005 to 2008, Avatar is an animated fantasy series set in a world of elemental “Benders,” who can control water, earth, fire, and air at will. It centers on Aang, the last of a lost tribe of airbenders destined to master all four elements and become the Avatar. Wildly popular during its original run, Avatar Spawned the spin-off series The Legend of KorraTwo live-action adaptations, three comic runs, a Avatar book series, and a whole host of video games.
But his newest video game adaptation will be his biggest, according to IGN. The Avatar RPG is part of a larger effort from series creators Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko to Expand and extend the life of the Avatar franchise with its own dedicated Avatar Studios.
