What the Madison role could have been of Kurt Russell

Perhaps he could have been a descendant of the Duttons

announced, The MadisonThe story will revolve around a woman named Stacey Cliburn, who moves her family from New York City to Montana after the death of her husband and brother-in-law in a plane crash. Pfeiffer is expected to play Stacey Cliburn, leading to questions about who Kurt Russell could be — or could have been — playing. It is possible that he could play the late husband of Stacey Cliburn, and his role would be told only through flashbacks. That would be a waste of a great name, though, So it’s more likely that Russell would play someone already in Montana – Perhaps a ranch owner and an acquaintance of the Duttons, or even a new love interest for Stacey. It will be interesting to see how these Yellowstone Spinoff finally fills that role.
