Kahhori is an original character from the Marvel Cinematic Universe who first appeared in the Disney+ animated series. And if…?, in the episode titled What if… Kahhori reshaped the world – and now the character’s journey continues in her own Marvel Comics one-shot. As her latest adventure brings her into mainstream Marvel continuity, Kahhori has proven that she deserves an upcoming live-action portrayal.
Kahhori: Reshaper of Worlds #1 – written by Arihhoni David and Ryan Little, with art by David Cutler and Todd Harris – takes the MCU heroine through the Marvel Multiverse to Earth-616, where she meets heroes like Daredevil, Echo and Moon Knight.
Notably, all three of these heroes already have live-action counterparts in the MCU; from Kahhori’s brief interactions with these heroes, It is clear that she will fit perfectly with the already established heroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and that the character should be adapted for the big screen as soon as possible.

If and when Kahhori makes her transition to live-action in the MCU, she wouldn’t be the first original MCU character to make the jump. to another media format. SHIELD Agent Phil Coulson, who appeared in the first MCU film, Iron Man, in 2008. He has become a recurring character in the main Marvel Comics 616 universe since 2011. A more recent example is Layla El-Faouly, aka Scarlet Scarab, who made her debut in Marvel Studios’ Moon Knight. She has since appeared in the Moon Knight comics since 2023, a year after the show debuted on Disney+.
Kahhori spends all her time in her first And if…? episode speaking the Mohawk language, so finding someone outside of Sky World with whom she can speak her own language should make her quite comfortable.
Echo makes her MCU debut in Hawkeye on Disney+. Kahhori joins Echo and Daredevil on Earth-616, but it’s Echo that she connects with the most. When Echo arrives, she greets Kahhori in her own language, and Kahhori thanks her for her help. Kahhori spends all her time in her first And if…? episode speaking the Mohawk language, so finding someone outside of Sky World with whom she can speak her own language should make her quite comfortable. The two quickly bond as they fight together and Echo finishes by stating that Kahhori seems quite capable.
Kahhori has already impressed several MCU heroes in her brief Marvel career
Kahhori: Reshaper of Worlds #1 – Available now from Marvel Comics
Moon Knight made his MCU debut in Moon Knight on Disney+. When Kahhori is pulled into Moon Knight’s Midnight Mission in Rehsaper of worlds #1, Kahhori captures Marc Spector with her powers. Kahhori claims they have a lot in common, but Moon Knight questions her knowledge of the moon. Kahhori explains that the moon is her grandmother, and her powers are to be invited into her heart, not claimed as Moon Knight does; Moon Knight admires Kahhori’s explanation and admits that he really wants to look into it.
Kahhori has already started to develop connections with characters that exist in the MCUand even though they are different variants, it still proves that she has a lot in common with several characters for different reasons; culture and powers. Kahhori can bond with Echo because of their shared culture, and Moon Knight can discuss her knowledge of the moon in more detail; he must have a lot to share with her too. We hope they can team up again in live action as Kahhori deserves to join the live action Marvel Cinematic Universe.
