According to Snyder, Lex Luthor reportedly told Darkseid that Lois Lane was the key to transforming Superman. Zack Snyder's DCEU Plans Could Have Had an Epic Ending
I didn't like everything Snyder did in the DCEU. That said, I always saw the potential that his vision for the Justice League franchise had as an epic Elseworlds tale. With James Gunn's DCU now replacing the old DCEU, I wouldn't be opposed to Snyder Justice League 2 happening outside of the main continuity like a cool Elseworlds project. The fan trailer shows off the film's potential, and seeing Henry Cavill's Superman and Ben Affleck's Batman in a full story with Darkseid would be exciting. Still, I don't think Netflix could realistically release Zack Snyder's film Justice League 2.
