THE Jurassic Park franchise introduced the newest person in the effort to clone dinosaurs, setting up a plot for Jurassic World: Chaos Theory and Jurassic World Rebirth. As the franchise continues to expand, writers have found ways to continue the beloved Jurassic Park tropes while also adding creative stories and characters into the mix. Perhaps the most successful addition to the beloved dinosaur-led story is Jurassic World: Chaos Theory. The animated show continues the story of the Nublar Six from Camp Cretaceous, upping the scare factor and tension.

In the new season, two stories intertwine – Brooklynn trying to find Chaos Theory‘s The Broker and the Nublar Six trying to put an end to the illegal dinosaur trade. Brooklynn’s side of the story shines throughout season two, as she discovers the Broker’s identity and plan. The man responsible for the dinosaur black market replaces Hammond and Masrani from the films, except with a drastically different goal.

Soyona Santos is the new person who clones dinosaurs in Jurassic World

The premise of Jurassic World requires an increasing number of dangerous dinosaurs, which is usually achieved through cloning. In Jurassic World: Chaos Theory, the Nublar Six uncover a dinosaur smuggling ring in Season 1, but Season 2 shows there’s more to the conspiracy than that. Soyona Santos is revealed as The Broker, linking the animated series in Jurassic World Dominionand his plan involves much more than smuggling.

Santos is the third main character to clone dinosaurs, after John Hammond and Simon Masrani. Technically, Dr. Wu could also fall into this category, but he was not the head of the operation. Although they each have different reasons for cloning, these characters’ arrogance leads them to think they can control the animals at the top of the food chain.
