Jurassic World Dominion Characters and Cast Guide

THE Jurassic World Dominion cast brought together both sets of characters from the current trilogy and also the original. Directed by Colin Trevorrow from a script he co-wrote with Emily Carmichael, Jurassic World Dominion marks the final film in the trilogy and the sixth film in the Jurassic Park franchise. It wraps up a story that began in Steven Spielberg’s 1993 film and brings back many familiar faces from the original for the Jurassic World 3 cast.

Set four years later Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Jurassic World Dominion explores a world that is shared by humans and dinosaurs. Dinosaur black markets have emerged, poachers hunt prehistoric creatures, and locusts are destroying crops around the world. Meanwhile, the villain Jurassic Park rival Biosyn returns for more corporate irregularities. For the ultimate adventure, Jurassic World Dominion brought back some characters from Jurassic Park joining the new heroes of Jurassic World trilogy. With iconic names, modern hit stars and some fun newcomers, the Jurassic World 3 cast dives into the dinosaur’s adventure.

Chris Pratt

As Owen Grady

Character: Owen Grady is a former Jurassic World employee who specializes in training Velociraptors. Since the events of Jurassic World: Fallen KingdomOwen is hiding out in the desert with his girlfriend Claire and his adopted daughter Maisie. When Maisie is taken by Biosyn agents, Owen sets out on a global journey to get her back, giving him the opportunity to show more of his heroism.

Actor: Owen is played by Chris Pratt, who first won fans’ hearts as Andy Dwyer in Parks and recreation. Pratt is best known as Star-Lord in the MCU, a role he recently returned to in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. He also appeared in Tomorrow’s War, Passengersand The Lego Movie while recently returning to television in the thriller The list of terminals. Pratt also voiced Mario in The Super Mario Bros. movie and will be seen below in The Electric State opposite Millie Bobby Brown.

Bryce Dallas Howard

As Claire Dearing

Character: Claire Dearing is the former manager of Jurassic World. After the park closed, Claire founded the Dinosaur Protection Group and spends much of her time rescuing dinosaurs from illegal captivity. In Jurassic World DominionClaire lives in the woods with Owen and Maisie, of whom she is very protective. She joins Owen as they set out to rescue Maisie, which eventually leads them to the Biosyn facility.

Actor: Claire is played by Bryce Dallas Howard, who had her breakout role in M. Night Shyamalan’s film. The village. She is best known for her roles in Rocket Man, Black Mirror, Pete’s Dragon, The Twilight Saga: Eclipseand The help. She recently headlined the star-studded spy action comedy Argylealongside Sam Rockwell and Henry Cavill. She will next be seen alongside Sean Bean and Orlando Bloom in the crime comedy Deep Coverage and she will make her directorial debut in All hers.

Laura Dern

As Dr.

Character: Dr. Ellie Sattler is a paleobotanist who was in the original Jurassic Park. Although she returned for a small cameo in Jurassic Park 3This is his first return to dinosaur action since the original film. In Jurassic World DominionEllie has been researching Biosyn, which she believes is using modified locusts to feed on crops around the world. She recruits her friends to infiltrate the company, leading to the long-awaited reunion of Ellie Sattler and Alan Grant.

Actor: Ellie Sattler is once again played by Laura Dern. Dern is an Oscar-winning actor for his role in Marriage story although she has been nominated twice before for Wild and wandering rose. She’s starred in everything from acclaimed indies like Blue Velvet for large franchise projects such as Star Wars: The Last Jedi to be successful in programs like Big little lies. Since returning to his iconic role in Jurassic World Dominion, Dern has appeared in the series Palma Real and recently starred in the romance film Lonely Planet.

Jeff Goldblum

As Dr.

Character: Dr. Ian Malcolm is a chaos theory mathematician who worked alongside Ellie and Alan Grant in the original Jurassic Park. He has been adamant that dinosaurs and humans will have to coexist or risk extinction. In Jurassic World DominionIan is an in-house philosopher at Biosyn, although he is secretly working to expose the illegal and dangerous activities the company has been carrying out.

Actor: Ian Malcolm is played by Jeff Goldblum, most famous for his roles in David Cronenberg’s film. The fly, Independence Dayand the MCU movie Thor: Ragnarok. He is also known as a frequent collaborator with filmmaker Wes Anderson, having appeared in The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, The Grand Budapest Hotel, and Asteroid City. Goldblum recently starred in the Netflix fantasy series Chaoswhich was canceled after its first season. He will next be seen in the cast of the musical Evil.

Sam Neill

Character: Dr. Alan Grant is a paleontologist who was one of the first visitors to the Jurassic Park in the original film. In Jurassic World DominionAlan is recruited by Ellie to go to Biosyn, and he works alongside her and Ian to figure out what to do. The film shows Grant meeting the new generation of heroes in Jurassic World franchise, with Owen and Maisie even teaching him how to train the raptors.

Actor: Alan Grant is played by Sam Neill, best known for his roles in Event horizon, Hunt for the Wild, The piano, Peaky Blinders, The Jungle Book, The horse whispererand Alcatraz. Most recently, Neill starred alongside Annette Benning in the miniseries Apples never fall. He also appeared in the MCU as the actor who plays Odin in Thor: Ragnarok and Thor: Love and Thunder.

Character: Kayla Watts is a former Air Force pilot paid to smuggle goods for Biosyn. However, she decides to help Claire and Owen find the kidnapped Maisie, taking them to the facility and helping them fend off the dinosaurs. Watts is another impressive action hero for the franchise, proving his worth against some deadly dinosaurs when they make his plane land on Biosyn Island.

Campbell Scott

As Dr.

Character: Dr. Lewis Dodgson is the CEO of Biosyna genetics company that creates a sanctuary for dinosaurs caught roaming. Serving as the film’s villain, Dodgson is the type of villain who thinks he’s doing the right thing, but will do anything to ensure he gets what he wants. He is also responsible for the ecological disaster that threatens the world. In Jurassic ParkLewis hired Dennis Nedry to steal dinosaur embryos. Dodgson’s death in Jurassic World 3 mirrors Nedry’s when he is killed by a group of dilophosauruses.

Actor: Lewis Dodgson is played by Campbell Scott, known for his roles in Billions, House of cards, The Exorcism of Emily Roseand Real Pains. He also had a small cameo The Amazing Spider-Man films like Richard Parker, Peter Parker’s father who is at the center of the franchise’s biggest mysteries.

Mamoudou Athie

As Ramsay Cole

Character: Ramsay Cole is Biosyn’s head of communications and Lewis Dodgson’s protégé, but with a moral compass. Although it’s a brief role that only plays a significant role in the film’s third act, Ramsay quickly proves himself to be a hero of the franchise and has more courage than he initially appears. He eventually resists his boss’s megalomaniacal ways and helps the heroes escape the facility.

His star continues to rise, as he will appear alongside Zendaya and Robert Pattinson in The Drama.

Character: Dr. Henry Wu is a geneticist and head of the dinosaur cloning process in general Jurassic Park franchise. He was first introduced in the original Jurassic Park in a small role as one of the main scientists working for John Hammond at the park. Although he was something of a secondary villain in the new trilogy, Jurassic World Dominion gives him redemption as Henry tries to do right by joining Owen, Claire and the rest of the group and solving the locust dilemma.

As Maisie Lockwood

Character: Maisie Lockwood returns to the cast of Jurassic World Dominion after being introduced into the franchise in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Although she is initially thought to be the granddaughter of Benjamin Lockwood, a geneticist who worked alongside John Hammon on Jurassic Park, it is revealed that she is actually the clone of his late daughter, Charlotte. After helping feel the dinosaurs Jurassic World: Fallen KingdomMaisie is shown living as Owen and Claire’s adopted daughter while being hunted by Biosyn.

Actor: Maisie is played by Isabella Sermon, who also plays young Charlotte. Just beginning his career in the acting world, Sermon has not had any roles outside of Jurassic World franchise yet. She made her film debut in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, while Jurassic World Dominion it was his second film and only other project to date.

Omar Sy as Barry Sembène – Barry was a Velociraptor trainer who worked alongside Owen, but later went to work for French intelligence. Omar Sy is best known for his role in the Netflix series Lupine, Jurassic World, X-Men: Days of Future Past, Murphy’s Lawand The Untouchables.

Judge Smith as Franklin Webb – Franklin is a former coach of Jurassic World turned dinosaur rights activist and helps Claire find illegally captured dinosaurs. Justice Smith is best known for his roles in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Paper cities, All the shining placesPrime Videos The Voyeursand the Netflix series The descent. He recently starred in the adventure film Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.

Scott Haze as Rainn Delacourt – Rainn is a poacher who works for Biosyn and is tasked with kidnapping Maisie. Scott Haze is known for his roles in Son of God, Old Henry, 12 powerful orphans, Poison, and Minari. He was recently seen alongside the huge cast of Kevin Costner’s epic Horizon: an American saga.

Dichen Lachman as Soyona Santos – Santos is a dinosaur smuggler who also has a contract with Biosyn. Dichen Lachman is known for her roles in Termination, animal kingdom, Shameless, The 100, Agents of SHIELD, and Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes.

Daniella Pineda as Dr. – Zia is a paleo-veterinarian who also works alongside Claire to save dinosaurs from captivity. Daniella Pineda is most famous for playing Sophie Deveraux in the Vampire Diaries and its spin-off show The Originals. She was also in the live action Cowboy Bebop and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.

Elva Trill as Charlotte Lockwood – Charlotte Lockwood is a geneticist, daughter of Benjamin Lockwood and mother of his clone Maisie. In Jurassic World DominionCharlotte appears in video diaries she created. Elva Trill is best known for her roles in Line of Duty.
