The cosplay portrays Yuji during the most critical Jujutsu Kaisen arc of his life Up to this point, with his battles against the evil cursed spirit, Mahito. The Shibuya Incident arc was one of the series' most intense, heartbreaking and violent, and Yuji played an integral role in the fights and events.
The cosplayer donned a short, light pink wig that matched Yuji's hairstyle flawlessly. They also wore Yuji's usual outfit: a navy jacket with gold metal buttons, a bright red collar, and bright red trim around the sleeves, along with a matching navy pair of pants.

Mahito gave Yuji many of his scars, as he was one of the strongest opponents the sorcerer had fought at that point. The cosplayer used makeup to painstakingly recreate all the scars, making them appear gruesomely realistic.

Thankfully, Yuji weakened Mahito significantly, causing him to be absorbed by Kenjaku, ending Mahito's reign of terror on innocent humans. Yuji didn't emerge from the battle unscathed though, and this bloody cosplay proves it. He was lucky to only receive scars and cuts while fighting the special mind cursed spirit, which could potentially give him a much more serious injury.
