I'm even more hopeful for the next one X-Men reboot following recent reports about Jean Grey's casting in the MCU. As a member of Marvel Comics' original X-Men team and one of the most adapted and beloved mutants in the Marvel Universe, it makes sense to me that Jean Gray would be a pivotal character to debut in the next Marvel Studios film. X-Men film. The powerful telepath has already been portrayed in live-action by Famke Janssen and Sophie Turner, and her possible MCU casting may now have been revealed.
Marvel boss Kevin Feige first teased the introduction of the MCU's X-Men team in 2019, shortly after Disney's acquisition of 20th Century Fox. However, we've only recently heard more solid updates about the long-awaited reboot, including the hiring of The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Birds and Snakes writer Michael Lesslie will write X-Men's road map. Feige also recently teased the introduction of notable X-Men heroes into several upcoming MCU projects.which makes me even more excited about Jean Grey's new casting report.
Stranger Things' Sadie Sink could be in the running to play the MCU's Jean Gray
Sadie Sink portrays Maxine “Max” Mayfield in Netflix’s Stranger Things
An insider's report Jeff Sneider shared on December 19 suggests that Sadie Sink is the favorite to play Jean Gray in the MCU. You'll probably know Sadie Sink best as Max Mayfield on Netflix Stranger Thingsand she is also known for roles in Rua do Medo, dear Zoe and The whale. She is a fantastic actress who has the talent needed to bring Jean Gray to life in the MCUespecially thanks to her long red hair and her huge fan base, especially after her rising dramatic role in Stranger Things season 4.
Sadie Pia [is] in line to be Jean Grey. I think it makes sense for her to be in Stranger Things, [and] Stranger Things ends next year, your schedule is pretty free after that. These kids are going to be red hot, and Marvel, as we all know, chases the heat, right? I think she's a talented actress and someone Marvel probably wants to commit to long-term… There's no director on X-Men yet… It wouldn't shock me if some of the X-Men were in the cast. [Avengers:] Secret Wars.
Sneider is right when he suggests that Marvel “chase the heat”, as several lesser-known actors have become Hollywood legends and household names because of their careers in the MCU. We've seen this happen with Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Iman Vellani and others, and Although Sadie Sink already has a huge fan base, she's still early in her acting career, so it would be great to see that take off.. Sadie Sink is inspired casting for the MCU's Jean Grey, and this potential casting makes me even more excited about the X-Men restart.
Sadie Sink's possible casting makes me think Marvel will debut a younger X-Men team
Sadie Sink is only 22 years old
At just 22 years old, Sadie Sink is a younger actress than many expected Marvel to cast in the role of Jean Grey. This makes me think that the MCU X-Men the reboot will feature a young team of X-Men, perhaps inspired by 2011 X-Men: First Class and possibly even including Marvel Comics' original lineup of young mutant heroes. I would love to see younger actors cast as Professor X, Jean Grey, Cyclops, Beast, Iceman and Angel in the MCUbringing the original team to live action for the first time.
I think casting a younger version of the X-Men team is a brilliant idea for Marvel Studios. Not only could the team be established as a completely new group, but Younger stars could explore the team's growth and development over several years as they grow up in the MCU. Sadie Sink's possible casting makes me very hopeful that Marvel Studios has considered the benefits of debuting a young X-Men team, but it also makes me very excited about the potential for Jean Gray to be remade, as she's never been dealt with before. properly in da fox X-Men franchise.
Sadie Sink's Jean Gray is a brilliant opportunity for Marvel to make up for its past mistakes with the character
Jean Gray was never given justice in Fox's X-Men franchise
Marvel Studios casting a young star like Sadie Sink as Jean Gray is exactly what the iconic Marvel hero needs to seek redemption in live-action. 20th Century Fox has never done justice to Jean Grey, whether it's the Famke Janssen or Sophie Turner iterations. Fox seemed to just want to adapt Marvel Comics Dark Phoenix Saga put Jean Gray front and center, but these adaptations (2006 X-Men: The Last Stand and 2019 Dark Phoenix) were not good. The fact that Jean Gray is the first X-Man cast in the MCU suggests that she will have a much more substantive and significant role..
Sadie Sink's age also leads me to think that the MCU's Jean Gray won't just be caught up in a boring love triangle with Cyclops and Wolverine.as was the Janssen version. Wolverine will be significantly older than the young Jean Grey, so it would be very inappropriate and controversial to explore that romance. I would be happy if this storyline was ignored, as Jean Gray is so much more than just the men she is romantically involved with, and I want the MCU to X-Men reboot to really delve into her as one of Marvel's most formidable female heroes.
Marvel's X-Men is the working title for the upcoming debut of Marvel's legendary team of mutant superheroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
