Indiana Jones and the Fate Dial was also unsuccessful, reportedly losing Disney $143 million, while Haunted Mansion also severely underperformed, grossing $117.5 million against its $150 million budget.
Put Deadline, Disney has now become the only studio to gross more than $2 billion at the domestic box officeafter successes such as Inside Out 2 ($652.9 million domestically), which is now the highest-grossing animated film of all time worldwide, Deadpool and Wolverine ($636.7 million), which is the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time worldwide, and Moana 2 ($342 million).
