Katerina, played by Kovalchuk, is a controlled, curious, and human character who is a lot of fun to watch grow up. as she faces a revolving door of dramatic changes in her life. She’s surrounded by a skillful ensemble of characters, and their talents and chemistry alone are enough to watch Love in chains.
The series has some similarities with Outlander in the way it interweaves the historical romance with an exciting, almost fun adventure this puts Katerina in danger again and again, only for her to overcome some seriously dramatic challenges.
