Is Dorothy in Wicked 2?

Evil expands the story of The Wizard of Ozand after seeing Dorothy briefly in the film, here’s what we know if the Kansas native is in Wicked: Part Two. This was supposed to mean a smaller role for Dorothy in Wicked 2 as the film reaches the conclusion of Elphaba and Glinda’s story. This would align with the musical, although the film adaptation could elevate her role a bit and show her beyond a silhouette.

It’s possible that Universal has already shown bits of Dorothy’s role in Wicked 2. There were some photos of Dorothy and her friends meeting the Wizard in Eviltrailers that were not included in the final version of the film. These scenes could be Wicked 2 and indicate how the Kansas farm girl will influence the sequel. If that is the case, then Wicked: Part Two should include a significantly larger role for Dorothy than the first film. Audiences still shouldn’t expect Dorothy to be the main character.
