Sister Wives Season 19 featured some major drama between Kody and Robyn Brown, but Christine Brown and her boyfriend David Woolley are doing just fine — in fact, David might be stealing Kody’s thunder. Over the years, Kody has become quite the villain – there’s something almost cartoonish about the man and his antics. Childish and stubborn, with little emotional intelligence, Kody tends to blame others for his own shortcomings. When David came on the show, he brought a different energy, mainly due to the lack of bitterness.
At this point, Kody is so tired it’s disgusting.
Kody makes the people around him unhappy. Its energy is dark and oppressive. Even Robyn, the favorite, is totally disillusioned at this point. So, understandably, when David walked in, it was like a breath of fresh air. He entered the fray as a true love interest, rather than a husband who acted more like a hostage. Yes, David wants to be with Christine – although they had a little drama at the wedding venue, it’s not the end of the world. However, Christine encouraged David to appear on the show, as per US Weekly.
Above, through TLC on YouTube, Christine wanted “lockdown” a wedding venue and ran into a few obstacles. These are normal “happy couple” problems. It’s nothing like the toxic mix that is Kody’s interactions with almost everyone. Kody’s potent cocktail of fragile male ego, patriarchal power trips, and blaming the entire world for being an erratic, moody person is an increasingly difficult drink to swallow.
Meanwhile, David is so in love with his vibrant, stunning wife, who is happier than ever, that he agreed to film the show even though he didn’t want to. Love is about sacrifice, and David seems to understand that. It’s about commitment! Cristina said:
“He would prefer not to… [but] he supports me. He just realizes this is my life. But I said, “You know, if you don’t want to do it, then you don’t have to.” But he has been very kind and gracious with his time. I’m really, really, eternally grateful [that] he is willing.
By acting like a man rather than an angsty teenager, David can eclipse his rival, Kody. Although Kody has fathered several children, his overall maturity level is notably low. It’s as if fame has paralyzed your personal growth forever. The tragic passing of his son Garrison Brown may change him, giving him more depth and compassion, but there’s always the chance the die is cast.
Kody is probably determined to follow his path, and if he continues like this, he could lose the only wife he has left. Nobody wants to be unhappy every day because their partner can’t find any joy in life. Kody just isn’t fun anymore – he’s honestly a pain in the ass. It’s boring to watch him play out the same tired psychodrama with different women one after another.
Years of fights and absolutely scary dominating brown women They distorted the patriarch’s mind, leaving him a dry, empty shell. He is a snake who desperately needs to shed his skin. Rebirth is always possible, but until Kody learns how to truly be a man, viewers are likely to look up to David, idealizing a man who has a lot to offer. The new Sister Wives star is there to help his partner and he lights up the screens because he looks nothing like Kody.
It’s shocking that Kody is ruining his marriage to Robyn due to bitterness over his exes. He spent years alienating three good women – he pushed them to the point where they had to emotionally isolate themselves from it to deal with. All of this he silently engineered, while blaming everyone else for his cowardly acts.
Now, Robyn is experiencing some of that emotionally stunted energy, and it doesn’t fill her with joy. It’s not sexy – it’s not cool. It’s just depressing, like looking at a war-torn landscape. Life shouldn’t be a never-ending battle – it should be enjoyed most of the time.
At the same time, David the hero He’s doing everything for his wife. He’s providing her with happiness, communication, and, hopefully, enough passion to make up for her dull, sexless spiritual union with Kody. What Sister Wives‘ Kody did to Christine’s life was ridiculous, and blaming her for it is not appropriate. Now, she can play with a man who actually smiles. And viewers can continue, grateful that a man is trying to make a woman happy.
