Riri Williams made her MCU debut as a supporting character in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and returned for a one-off lead role in And if...? season 3 episode 5, "What if... the emergency destroyed the Earth?". A few months later, Riri will officially become Iron Man's successor in the next MCU film. Iron Heart series, where she will prove her worth as a genius inventor and technology-wielding superhero on her own against dangerous threats like The Hood. Iron Heart will also consolidate Riri Williams as one of the main representatives of the new generation of MCU heroes ahead of Avengers: Judgment Day.

And if...? Episode 5 of season 3 presents a timeline where the emergence of Tiamut was not interrupted by the Eternals, thus destroying the entire planet without warning. Mysterio takes advantage of the tragedy to become a despot and employs White Vision, with his memory erased, to impose his rule. However, Riri Williams turns the tide for the survivors by creating a makeshift weapon that disables White Vision. Riri then transforms the synthezoid's body into a powerful suit of armor, equipped with all of Vision's abilities.
Riri Williams' White Vision armor grants her the ability to phase through any object, fire energy beams, and manipulate Mysterio's technology. Although Riri's new armor is flawed due to her hasty nature, it allows her to remove Mysterio's powers, killing him. In the main MCU timeline, SWORD manages to break Vision's indestructible body to create White Vision.
