Illustrating Android 18 kissing Krillin after one of their first encounters, Super Saiyan Goku standing over Frieza being cut in half, and even Goku’s epic “Instant Kamehameha Transmission” against Cell: HeatExtended uses a visual style that is completely unique to itself, subtly paying homage to the late and great work of Akira Toriyama. without taking away from what HeatExtended achieves here.

Introduced in the first episode Dragon Ball ZGohan started out as a whiny kid with incredible but unpredictable strength, grew into a strong teenager who literally single-handedly saved the world, and eventually grew into a real young man who, while not into books like Chi-Chi always wanted, fights with crime as a superhero known as the Great Saiyaman. Directly and indirectly involved in almost all main event in Dragon Ball Zstory, Gohan’s journey from impressionable boy to competent adult is now immortalized in fan art that further enriches the series’ best moments.
Placing fans on the ground behind Gohan, HeatExtended first shows a young Gohan witnessing his father arriving in the nick of time to defeat Nappa in an instantly recognizable way. HeatExtended then draws Gohan, clad in Saiyan armor, witnessing perhaps the most pivotal moment in history. Dragon Ball story: Goku is going to play Super Saiyan against Frieza.
