There are tons of random quests in Infinite Nikki and the "Forced Perspective"the missions are some of the most complicated; in"Forced Perspective: Catching the Thief," you'll need to find the right angle to put a dastardly villain behind bars. Using Momo's camera, you'll need to find the right angle to complete an optical illusion. Unfortunately, the game's detection isn't as good as it could be, making completing the mission more difficult than it seems.
Forced Perspective missions are also part of Infinite NikkiCompanion Day event. This event celebrates all of the furry friends found in Florawish and has a few different activities for Nikki to do. "Catching the thief"is the second of"Forced Perspective"missions, so you should know the basics of the mission type once you unlock it.

How to Unlock and Complete Forced Perspective: Capturing the Thief
Complete "Caged Bird" and find Toran
Before you can complete"Catching the thief,"you will need to complete"Forced Perspective: Caged Bird", which is the first of the "Forced Perspective"missions in Infinite Nikki. This mission is part of the Companion Day event and is a small walkthrough of the "Forced Perspective"missions so players know what to expect from the ones that follow.
"Forced Perspective"missions work similarly to"Photographic investigation"missions, although there are some important differences that make the first a little more complex.
After finishing"Caged Bird," find Toran near the Kingdom Guard Office. He will mention that he is having trouble with a mission and then ask Nikki for help. He will explain that he needs to find a way to put a criminal behind bars around the Kingdom Guard Office. Save, but I can't figure out how. So it's up to Nikki and Momo to help Toran solve the puzzle.
To complete Toran's order, you will need to find the burglar warrant poster on the east side of the building. Stand in front of the poster with the fence between Nikki and the building and open your camera. Take a photo so it looks like the poster is in prison to complete the request.
If you are struggling to get the reticle to appear, try using an f/16 aperture and turning off the Nikki, NPCs, and Eureka effects in your camera settings to get the sharpest photo possible. I had to retake the photo several times before the reticle appeared, and I'm not sure what caused it to work. If all else fails, try setting your Run, Pear Pal time to 10am, as that's what finally worked for me.
Forced Perspective: Capturing the Thief's Quest Rewards
Diamonds and camera upgrade parts will be your reward
Once you've taken the photo you need, go back to Toram and show him the photo you took. He'll exclaim how good a job you did and give you some rewards for your troubles:

The "Forced Perspective"The missions are not the most complicated in Infinite Nikkibut they can be some of the most annoying when the camera doesn't work properly. Take your time and reposition Nikki a few times and eventually you'll get the perfect shot. Once you finish this quest, there are tons of new quests to explore and even more content in future updates.
