Latest issue X-Force continues to build up the promising power of Marvel as the series clarifies that new hero Tank’s power is officially on par with such powerful Marvel heroes as Thing And Juggernaut. When X-Force is down, Tank has a chance to make his mark as the strength of a new and still vaguely described character is tested in the team’s latest release.
Preview X-Force #4 – written by Geoffrey Thorne, with art by Marcus To – finds the new team, including Forge and Sage, wiped out and nearly defeated. Along with providing new information about his power, the opening pages of the issue see Tank attempting, but failing, to fight Nuklo with his super strength.
While Sage’s operating system reads statistics and analyzes her team members, The known power set of a tank is defined as “Grimm Class Strength/Invulnerability» along with a list of specific martial arts skills. With powers similar to those of the iconic Marvel hero, Tank instantly becomes a powerful mutant.
X-Force claims the new mutant’s power is on par with that of Fantastic Four’s “The Thing”

While details about the new X-Force hero are still scarce, Tank, placing him in the same power class as Ben Grimm makes the command “bruisea serious threat moving forward. The Thing is one of Marvel’s most powerful heroes when he’s at full strength, so to consider Tank equal to the iconic hero of the Fantastic Four is a major show of faith in the character. Along with the hard orange rock skin and brute strength of the Thing, Tank has red armor to match the new X-Force suits that may have been developed by the Forge to enhance his invulnerable mutant power set.
Tank was originally thought to be an updated version of the young mutant who was briefly seen in Iron Heart. However, the set of powers assigned to him seems to disprove this theory. Another possibility is that Tank will become the X-Men hero Colossus under a new name and with a new look designed by Forge; The Russian System, which ranks first in the list of famous Tank martial arts, may also indicate this. However, it is just as likely that the appearance of the Tank in X-Force #1 is his Marvel debut. Since his origins are still a mystery, Tank became one of X-Force the most intriguing characters.
Tank joins Juggernaut as one of the X-franchise’s top mutants

Tank follows in Juggernaut’s footsteps as the hulking hulking hero of one of Marvel’s current X-teams; Juggernaut is currently part of Cyclops’ core X-Men team, being one of the few non-mutants in either of the splintered mutant groups during the From the Ashes era. Sage Statistics lists Tank as X-Force’s top killer. and Juggernaut takes on the same role in X-Men. While Tank may or may not be an entirely new character introduced in X-Men history, the hulking, red-armored mutant with a fresh design and codename can still be considered one of Marvel’s newest heroes.
With the strength of the Thing and the size of Juggernaut, the latest member of X-Force is officially one of the biggest and most powerful new additions to the Marvel Universe.
With the current X-Force team empowered by the Forge and trying to prevent end-of-the-world threats before they happen, Tank is an important member of the team as a super-strong and invulnerable mutant. Although Tank was unable to defeat Nuklo in the game preview. X-Force #4, the new hero’s enormous power level makes him an important advantage in the fight against mutants. With strength Thing and size Juggernautlast member X-Force is officially one of the biggest and most powerful innovations in the Marvel Universe.
