90 Day Fiance star Colt Johnson has had the worst luck lately, with one serious injury after another, and I believe he deserves sympathy even though he is so troubled. When they’re going through really hard times, people need some kind of grace, even if they have done bad things. There are exceptions, of course – Hitler didn’t deserve grace, but the worst Colt did was the usual reality show stuff – cheating, lying and the like.
Many people cheated and lied. Who has not been dishonest or betrayed someone? Shamefully, I did both. However, I didn’t broadcast my worst moments on television, basically inviting the entire world to mock me. Colt willingly put on an incredible show.
Your antics and the pranks of those around you, made for delightfully bizarre viewing. Colt’s interactions with his love interests and a mother-son dynamic straight out of Alfred Hitchcock’s 1960 horror film classic, Psychopathshowed the entire prism of human emotion, from crazy to passionate to train wreck. Coltee’s ups and downs were truly memorable.
Colt isn’t perfect, but who is?
Colt is in a bad situation now
I’m not perfect, but I’ve still judged “Coltee” in the past. Other times, I sympathized with him. Now that he could lose his leg due to an infection coupled with a second serious injury, I feel sorry for him. The “suffocating love” that Debbie Johnson gave him may have warped his mind, leading him to hurt women, even if he didn’t mean to. Colt has been horrible, but I’ve had my moments too, which is why I’m letting go of the old grudges I’ve carried.
Colt used to really irritate me. With Larissa Lima, he was very busy, but how many red flags did he need to wave in the breeze before he realized he was being used for money and a Green Card? I understand that Colt was dazzled by Larissa’s smoldering sensuality, but ultimately, there’s no way he wouldn’t have seen the warning signs. Larissa continued to pressure him, asking a man she considered a cheapskate to put air conditioning in her car. In her defense, they were in Las Vegas and she was roasting in his vehicle. However, this sensible requirement was just the tip of the iceberg.
Soon, as all 90DF con artists do, she wanted more. More clothes, more jewelry, more hairstyles, more makeup and plastic surgery too. Her list of demands made it seem like she believed Coltee was an ATM. Of course, he tried to control her. Although that was understandable. She is the woman who climbed a ladder and iconically declared:
Whoever goes against the queen will die!
This is an aggressive woman, but the problem is that Larissa chose violence. The police arrived – in the blink of an eye, everything went from dysfunctional to confusing and dangerous. Life can change so quickly. Larissa was a user, but Colt let her mother walk all over her. Neither partner was meeting their needs. When that relationship fell apart, Colt started playing mind games with redhead Jess Caroline, who wasn’t exactly his type.
Colt likes sexy brunettes. He cheated on one of them – Vanessa Guerra, and then married her. That relationship also failed. Now Colt, who tried his best to change his body through exercise and diet, has been seriously injured while filming a new show. It’s a different accident than the one that made headlines in April 2024 – in the first incident, he was injured on the trampoline. It was no laughing matter and now he has a bruised and infected leg. There is a possibility he may need to amputate it.
This is horrible. Mobility is a gift – it is precious. Not everyone is lucky enough to have mobility – some people have disabilities that make their lives challenging. If Colt loses his leg, nothing will be the same again and he will need to adapt to his disability. I am a cochlear implant user and had to adapt to decades of worsening hearing loss before having that life-changing surgery. Disability is a very serious thing – it can trigger depression associated with frustration and feelings of helplessness.
I wouldn’t wish a disability on anyone, no matter how bad it was. Overall, Colt has issues with women that he needs to resolve – this is something he really needs to work on. However, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t deserve fan support right now. It’s time for a hiatus from the mocking and criticism. 90 Day Fiance star Colt is going through something terrible and I wish him a full recovery. Hopefully he won’t lose his leg. Colt was trying to change his life and improve his health. These setbacks are scary, and regardless of who he is in relationships, he needs compassion.
