Unburied Batman: Fallen City it also benefits from letting the actor play Batman in a second season that needs to spend less time preparing, thus allowing the focus to be on the established universe and its protagonist more directly.
Colman Domingo’s Batman Is Seriously Underrated
It’s clear that Colman Domingo is a talented actor, having most notably won the 2022 Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series for his role as Ali in Euphoria. This is by no means Domingo’s only accolade, with a considerable variety of acting awards and nominations chronicling his history on both screen and stage.
A beloved fan choice for the MCU’s potential recast of Kang – and actively cast as Norman Osborn in Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – there is also a clear interest in Colman Domingo’s considerable talents being transferred to the superhero sphere. As such, It’s surreal to think that many people who want to see Domingo in the superhero genre don’t know that he already voiced one of DC’s greatest heroes – whether because they’re not aware of the audio drama itself, because it’s a comparatively lesser-known medium for superhero releases, or because they haven’t heard that Domingo has taken on the role.

Since there are a wide variety of Batman’s rogues galleries that have yet to be explored in the series, there is plenty of room to continue and further explore the mysteries the World’s Greatest Detective faces throughout his vigilante career. As someone who was completely entertained by Unburied Batman: Fallen City and everything that came before it, I definitely hope this isn’t the last release within this CC world, and that other installments will eventually be added to the list of upcoming DC releases.
