I’m skeptical about the Bones revival, even with David Boreanaz & Emily Deschanel

Despite David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel’s enthusiasm to return, I’m a little skeptical about a Bones Revival. I will admit, The news of the return of so many procedurals, such as Suits And White collarIs exciting as an avid procedural lover. That positive attention means that a Bones Revival is much more likely. bones Iconic romance between Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) and each of its dynamic cases made it one of my favorite series and definitely worth more screentime, especially considering the actor’s enthusiasm to return.

Boreanaz expressed interest in a Bones revival lately, with Deschanel and creator Hart Hanson not too far behind. Bones had a few unanswered questions that were never addressed after the show’s cancellation by FoxAnd most of the cast seem to have openings in their schedule to return to the Jeffersonian. However, despite all of the pieces aligning, I’m still a little worried that a revival of Bones Could ruin his amazing series finale years later.

Bones had a great series finale and a review risks ruining that

A revival could undo the completed character arcs of Bones’ main cast

While a revival of Bones It is possible, the storyline of the revival could risk ruining the grand finale of the series. The finale was, in my opinion, one of bones Best episodes. The episode not only wrapped up the Kovac arc once and for all, but it also highlighted why we fell in love with Brennan and the rest of the cast. Their strong emotional connection helped them all heal in some form throughout the series, which is shown in this episode and is a big part of what made the show so compelling.

The main plot of the series was open-ended, with everything basically returning to the status quo. The arcs, however, are quite as each character prepares for new chapters in their lives. A revival could accidentally ruin that as the new storyline could conflict with where the characters are now, destroying all the progression. The story can also damage the connections between characters due to new conflicts and beats, taking away from the heart of the show. That being said, there is one way that, to me, would leave Bones‘ Revival to happen while keeping the original ending intact.

How a revival of Bones could happen without harming the original ending

The revival of Bones can focus on minor characters, like the Squirters

The Bones Revival could focus more on characters that didn’t get as much screen time initially, allowing the revival to happen without harming the original ending. The main cast all have completed arcs, but many of the side characters, including Brennan’s interns Bonesdid not. The revival could rotate through the characters, giving each of them the spotlight for a case with which the original Jeffersonian group needs help. This would not only allow us to see the characters we love again, but also give many of the Squirters more development after being in the background for so long.

By doing this, Bones‘ Revival can let us see our favorite characters without compromising their stories, instead showing how they drive the healing forward.

James Aubrey (John Boyd) would be another viable avenue for this, as his late arrival in season 10 gave him little time for this level of development. The revival could follow Aubrey as he takes on more responsibility in his new position, while still going to Booth for advice, and keeping the main cast involved. Aubrey and Karen’s (Sara Rue) romance could also be explored as it was implied to be just beginning during the finale. By doing this, Bones‘ Revival can let us see our favorite characters without compromising their stories, instead showing how they drive the healing forward.
