Daisy Kelliher and Gary King are longtime friends and stars of Sailing yacht below deckand despite their tumultuous past, I’m convinced the two belong together and will eventually date. Sailing yacht below deck season 5 is well underway, with Daisy and Gary dealing with difficulties in their respective domains. Daisy could become a villain because of the laziness and insubordination of her two stews, Diana Cruz and Danni Warren. Likewise, Gary is at an impasse over how to deal with Emma Crouch, an incompetent and sensitive sailor.
Daisy and Gary were friends before they fought. Gary, a womanizer and troublemaker on board, was put in his place by Daisy, the sensible and sarcastic Chief Stew. However, their dynamic got complicated when Daisy and Gary got together between seasons. Gary had residual feelings for Daisy and became jealous when she started a boat with former chief engineer Colin Macrae. I don’t think those feelings have gone away, and they both clearly still have a lot of sexual tension. They will definitely date – the only question is when.

At the end of the previous charter, the crew went out for a walk around the city as they usually do. Although alcohol often gets Gary into trouble, he doesn’t seem to have learned his lesson. Gary was completely drunk when the crew returned to the yacht, but he wasn’t the only one. Daisy went to bed, as did new sailor Keith Allen, who Danni had been flirting with. Danni turned her attention to Keith early in the season, but was turned off by his professionalism when he wouldn’t flirt in front of the guests. Gary proved to be a much easier target.
Gary and Danni were later seen drunkenly swimming late at night, kissing in the ocean. He clearly regretted the kiss immediately, but Danni seemed to enjoy it. The next day, a hungover, Gary faced the repercussions of his actions. Danni was eager to share the news with Diana, her soggy colleague and famous enemy. Gary was less eager to share his transgressions with Daisy, who immediately gave him a talking to. She definitely didn’t hold back.
Daisy has always been known for telling it like it is and never holds back with Gary.
Daisy began by saying, “Damn, Gary“, continuing”,This is shit. I think if you understood why this behavior is so toxic to the team and to yourself, I think it would be easier to be, like, that’s not a good idea… She’s 11 years younger than you!” Daisy has seen Gary make mistakes with women before, even though she noted that he had been “six or seven times.” Although her annoyance was largely because she cared about him, she could also feel jealous. Daisy and Gary have a lot of sexual chemistryand by teaming up with another crew member, Daisy may lose that connection.

It was a bit buried in the episode, but he told the cameras that he had unresolved emotions towards his old friend. This was after she confronted him in the season premiere about his lack of support in the fallout of her relationship with Colin. The love triangle of Daisy, Colin and Gary was a focal point of Sailing yacht below deck Season 4, with Gary purposefully trying to undermine Daisy’s relationship with Colin out of jealousy.
Gary may not feel fully capable of being friends with Daisy again Sailing yacht below deck Season 5 because he still wants to be with her. However, he won’t do anything about it because he’s not sure if she feels the same way. In a preview of the upcoming episode, it looks like Daisy and Gary can be seen having fun together like they used to.
I think this scene will set the stage for a true romance between Daisy and Gary to blossom. Due to its confessional, I’m convinced Gary wants to be with Daisy. All he needs is her confirmation.
Colin is not on board to complicate things

Daisy and Gary never got the chance to realize the potential of their relationship because Daisy became interested in Colin after she and Gary were off camera. However, Colin is no longer on board as a distraction. Additionally, Daisy doesn’t seem interested in Chef Cloyce Martin, new chief engineer Davide Morosi, or Deckhand Keith. She supported Keith when he was upset about Danni’s interest in Gary, but there was no spark between the two. Chef Cloyce has expressed his interest in Daisy, but she is more concerned with her skills in the kitchen than her charm.
Gary is not interested in Danniand he looks embarrassed that they shared a kiss. He told her repeatedly that it wouldn’t happen again and felt he needed to admit his mistake to Daisy. There is no one Gary trusts more than Daisy because she is always honest with him. That’s a good foundation for a relationship, as long as Gary is finally ready to grow up. Given your latest make-out session, it seems old habits die hard.

I’m not the only one convinced that Daisy and Gary are meant to be. After Gary posted a carousel of photos from the season, many of which featured Daisy, other fans praised their compatibility in the comments section. “Stop messing around with all the other women and prove to Daisy that you are her person,” one fan wrote, while another gushed: “When you and Dais finally meet I promise we will all be celebrating!!“

With everything that happened Sailing yacht below deck In Season 4, it’s hard to remember when Gary and Daisy were friends. This is the perfect basis for a relationship because they already know a lot about each other. Daisy and Gary obviously care about each other. They are more or less the same age and have the same passion for yachting. I look forward to the day Daisy and Gary announce their relationship. For now, I’ll just have to be patient.
