I’m choosing to believe this Wednesday Season 2 theory that perfectly solves the stalker’s identity

The final scene of Wednesday Season 1 left viewers wondering who was stalking the eponymous main character, but I came up with a theory that I believe explains it all. In 2022, the horror comedy series, Wednesday, Took Netflix (and me) by storm. Starring Jenna Ortega, the show tells the story of The Addams Family Spooky Daughter, Wednesday Adam. After being expelled from yet another school, Wednesday is sent to a magical boarding school called Nevermore Academy. While there, Wednesday becomes obsessed with solving a series of mysteries plaguing the campus and surrounding town.

at the end of Wednesday Season 1 Marilyn Thornhill is defeated and Wednesday is heading home for a school break. However, when she gets into her parents’ car, she receives a strange text. It’s a string of emojis that imply someone is stalking WednesdayFollowed by a GIF of her with a knife in her head. The shocking final scene sets audiences up for the mystery that will surround Wednesday Season 2. So, as we all wait for the second season to arrive, I can’t help but put forward my own theories as to who Wednesday’s stalker might be.

Why Principal Wems would be stalking Wednesday

My favorite theory about Wednesday’s stalker is that it’s Principal Veem, back from the dead. Although this may sound impossible, I think there is some weight to the theory. In the latest episode of Wednesday Season 1, Weems and Wednesday team up to get Thornhill to confess his crimes. Veem’s closet shifts into Taylor in order to confront her. But, after admitting, Thornhill stings Wems with poison, leading to her death. Of course, since I didn’t see Mme’s body being put in the ground, I really can’t believe that Wims really died. So, she just might be Wednesday’s stalker.

This theory can occur in a number of different ways. Perhaps the Principal Veem is more powerful than we thought and only pretended to succumb to the poison. There is also a chance that Weems himself was not actually in the roomBut instead another shifter was sent in as protection. I can’t help but think that Weems’ closet-shifting abilities would allow her to get Thornhill’s poison somehow. Therefore, only one question remains: Who would be stalking Wednesday?

This is the part of the theory that is the most mysterious. After faking her death, it’s possible that Principal Veem wants to return to Nevermore, but needs to do so in a subtle way. Some may be suspicious that Veems is not actually Vies, but another creation shifter. In this way, she needs to formulate a plan for her return that will prove she is who she says she is. There is a chance that she wants to include Wednesday in the plans. I wouldn’t put it past Vims to pretend to be Wednesday’s stalker, Or, due to their love-hate relationship.

The stalker being a shapeshifter would make Wednesday season 2 a lot of fun

The possibilities are endless with a shapeshifter

Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams gives a stern look at someone in Wednesday season 1

If Principal Weems is truly the stalker in Wednesday, Her shapeshifting capabilities make this even more exciting. throughout Wednesday In season 1, audiences saw Veems use her powers, but not really to the fullest extent. Now, though, we can really dive into Weems’ abilities and how far they go. If Wednesday and Weems together again, then I’m sure Veem’s abilities could come in handy for WednesdayWho will probably have another big mystery to solve. Weems’ closet shifting allows her to get into all sorts of situations that Wednesday might not be able to move.

Even if Weems wasn’t the stalker, it would make a shapeshifting stalker Wednesday Season 2 even more fun. By constantly shifting forms, The stalker would keep Wednesday (and the audience) from being able to pin down who they are. If they never show their true face, then no one will know who they are. This adds a whole new level of mystery that a regular stalker simply wouldn’t have. In fact, it’s the perfect cherry on top for a show that’s already made better by its magic and paranormal characters. A shifty stalker makes Wednesday’s job even harder.

The death of Principal Weems is another one of Wednesday’s strangest plots

Why did Wednesday kill Wems?

Gwendoline Christie smiles as Principal Larissa Weems Wednesday

I can’t help but place Principal Veem as Wednesday’s stalker because her death still doesn’t really make sense to me. Between Wednesday Cast, Weems was one of the most interesting and enjoyable characters. Gwendoline Christie brought such a smart and cold charisma to the character that it made her a joy to watch. Additionally, her interactions with Wednesday added a level of suspense that put me on the edge of my seat even more. Despite all this, Wednesday Killed Wems off without much fanfare, and I just can’t understand why.

In this way, I am firm in my belief that Principal Veem is not dead, and moreover, will return in Wednesday Season 2.

Personally, I think Veem’s death had to be a fake-out. It doesn’t make sense for the show to introduce a character with such big goals only to kill them off at the end of the season. Wem still had a lot to do In terms of fixing relations between outcasts and the people of Jericho. Additionally, her connections to Morticia and Gomez Addams give her yet another reason to be a recurring character. In this way, I am firm in my belief that Principal Veem is not dead, and moreover, will return in Wednesday Season 2.

If Weems is dead, Wednesday’s stalker could still be a shapeshifter

Who else could be the stalker Wednesday

Once again, even if Principal Wems is dead, I think Wednesday’s stalker should be a closet shifter. This would be such an interesting twist on an already mysterious storyline. Plus, it would give Wednesday Audiences more shapeshift content that they would miss without veems around. I need to know more about the abilities of shapeshifters and just how powerful they are. Maybe The new shapeshifter could be a student at Nevermore or a relative of Principal Veems. It seems likely that they would be a character we haven’t met before.

on the other hand, There are a few letters of Wednesday Season 1 Who Could Be The Stalker too. Since Xavier was the one to give Wednesday the phone, it could very easily be him stalking her. Of course, it could also somehow be Marilyn Thornhill refusing to be subdued. In fact, it could be anyone in Nevermore, from Bianca to Enid. I just hope Wednesday’s stalker creates an opportunity to learn more about Outkas and their awesome abilities. Wednesday Season 2 must raise the stakes after an incredible first season.
