I’ll be furious if Agatha’s Scarlet Witch references all along don’t lead to her MCU return

Warning! This article contains spoilers for Agatha All Along episodes 1 and 2Agatha all along Has already made some pretty blatant references to Scarlet Witch, so I’ll be mad if it doesn’t end in what we all think. The first two episodes of the MCU’s latest Disney+ show center around Agatha breaking free from the spell Wanda cast on her, although Agatha hasn’t been the only one down on her luck since the events of WandaVision. Wanda became corrupted by the Darkhold in her multiverse search for her children and eventually sacrificed herself to destroy the book at the end of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

It’s always a tough pill to swallow when a beloved MCU character dies, but Wanda’s death was particularly harsh considering how suddenly it happened. Since no character is ever going to stay dead for good in the MCU, I’m still hoping that Wanda could return in some way. Agatha all along Seems like the obvious project to bring you back, Considering Agatha’s direct ties to the Scarlet Witch origin story, and with all the references to Wanda that have been made in the show so far, I’ll be pretty disappointed if none of them lead to a return.

The first two episodes of Agatha are all heavy on Scarlet Witch references

Scarlet Witch played a crucial role despite not fully appearing

Even without physically appearing in the first two episodes of Agatha all alongWanda has already made her impact by being referred. From the opening moment when Agnes investigates the mystery corpse, it is heavily implied that it is the Scarlet Witch. The cause of death was indicated as blunt force trauma, and The victim’s fingers are black like Wanda after using the Darkhold. The library card found on the victim’s body was for a book that was stolen three years ago, which was the exact time Wanda imprisoned Agatha and took the Darkhold from her.

When Agatha examines the victim’s body in the morgue, she sees a strand of scarlet hair sticking out from under the sheet. Finally, as if not all signs point to the body belonging to Wanda Maximoff, The body tag confirms that it is indeed her. Scarlet Witch is also referred to more passively, such as how the Westview residents don’t like to say her name. Wanda fans have a lot to work with in the first two episodes of Agatha all alongAnd it is understandable why so many expect a revival to come from it.

Agatha all along prefers to confirm the MCU return of Scarlet Witch

Scarlet Witch’s return is the biggest fan theory of the show

The Teen (Joe Locke) is speechless every time he tries to tell Agatha his name in Agatha All Along Season 1 Episode 2

With the show’s direct ties to the character, Agatha all along is the obvious project for Scarlet Witch to make her MCU return. The entire first season will revolve around the Witches’ Road and Agatha and her coven’s journey on it. A plane of existence reserved for only witches and those who practice magic, the Witches’ Road features a series of challenging threats. If the individual can survive the journey, they are given the thing they really desire. Thanks to a new MCU character, The Witches’ Road may be Wanda’s way to return.

I am completely convinced that Joe Locke’s Tin is actually Wanda’s son BillyOr at least a variant of it. There have already been several hints pointing to his identity, including the fact that Agatha cannot hear him talk about his true identity. The running theory before Agatha all along Premiere was that Billy would travel the witches’ road in hopes of resurrecting Wanda. Even though Tin tells Agatha that his intention is only to gain power from the Witches’ Road, he can expect to use his newfound powers to bring back his mother.

Why I’ll be furious if Agatha doesn’t bring back Scarlet Witch after all

Wanda Maximoff deserves better than the MCU gave her

The variant of Scarlet Witch consoles her in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

Wanda has one of the most underwhelming endings in the MCU, and I know a lot of people agree with me. After getting her brilliant character development in WandaVisionYou turn to villains Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was too sudden. Scarlet Witch actually made for an intriguing villain, but her arc was too rushed to begin and end in just one film. The way her character was treated by the end was absolutely undeserved and I will never get over the fact that she was killed off screenWith fans only getting official confirmation from Marvel months later.

Scarlet Witch has become an iconic MCU character and deserves to be brought back. Unlike the deaths of Tony Stark or Natasha Romanoff which felt fitting for their respective stories, Wanda has so much more potential for the MCU to explore. Above all else, it would be funny for Agatha all along To make so many Scarlet Witch certificates if it is not to put something. I’m not saying that Marvel has to play to every fan theory, but Scarlet Witch returns Agatha all along Is such a natural setup that they need to use it.
