Anime It's really taken off in recent years, and with that, new fans are always looking for good places to start. Show how Dragon Ball, One piece, My Hero Academyand Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood They're often easy recommendations because of their fun stories and great animation, and for the most part, they do a great job of turning newcomers into die-hard fans.
There are many great anime for beginners, but unfortunately the opposite is also true. As is often the case, many anime are simply not worth watching because of bad writing, bad visuals, or some combination of the two, and it gets to the point that some anime are so bad that they can completely turn off anime newbies if they are the first one someone watches. Some animes of this scale deserve to be highlighted, and with any luck, no one will have the misfortune of making them their first anime.

Digimon Frontier
Toei Animation anime series; Directed by Yukio Kaizawa
Toei animations Digimon Frontier is the fourth series of the long Digimon franchise. Like others Digimon anime, Digimon Frontier sees a group of children summoned to the Digital World to protect it from a mysterious evil, but instead of teaming up with Digimon to fight, the children take on Digimon's power to fight, becoming a strange mashup of Digimon and the tokusatsu gender.
Digimon Frontier is the weakest of the Digimon anime thanks to its flat characters and repetitive stories, but leaving quality aside, Digimon Frontier is a terrible anime for beginners because it gives a false impression of what Digimon it's like. Someone new to Digimon and anime, in general, should start with one of the more conventional stories, and once they have a better understanding of how Digimon works, something as far from the formula as Border it will be much better to watch.

Jellyfish don't know how to swim at night
Doga Kobo anime series; Directed by Ryohei Takeshita
Doga Kobo Jellyfish don't know how to swim at night stars Mahiru Kozuki, a former artist who was inspired by former idol Kano Yamanouchi to return to art. From there, Mahiru and Kano meet a talented pianist and a popular VTuber, and they all come together to form the anonymous artist group JELEE and show the world what they can do.
Although the show starts off strong with its flashy visuals and strong character writing, Jellyfish don't know how to swim at night falls apart in its final act thanks to forced drama, little to no closure to its stories, and generally having nothing to say about its themes of success and self-worth beyond a superficial level. anime type Bocchi the Rock!, Yes, Kongming boy!and Keep your hands off the Eizouken! everyone does what Jellyfish does it much more competently, so a person is much better off just watching one of these animes.

Day break illusion
AIC anime series; Directed by Keizo Kusakawa
AIC Day break illusion is set in a world tormented by Daemonia, powerful creatures that use negative emotions to turn people into monsters. The only ones who can stop them are the magical girls of Sefiro Fiore, who fight with the power of the Elemental Tarot, and the newest member, Akari Taiyo of the Sun, quickly learns how dark their new world can really be.
Day break illusion it's quite useful with its animation and writing, but that's the problem; Day break illusion it never does anything to stand out from other dark magical girl anime, so it feels like a waste of time more than anything. The series was created to profit Puella Magi Madoka Magicsuccess, and overall there's no reason why anyone shouldn't just watch Madoka or any other dark magical girl anime with so much more to offer.

Kyoto Animation is famous for anime with great comedy, great drama or a combination of the two and because of this Beyond the border Being a standard action fantasy makes it stand out in the worst way among Kyoto Animation's smarter animeespecially with how lackluster the writing is. The visuals are as good as any of Kyoto Animation's best anime, but overall, any other Kyoto Animation anime is more worth a person's time than Beyond the border.

The Lost Village
Diomedea anime series; Written by Mari Okada
Diomedea The Lost Village sees 30 people from an online group coming together IRL to move to the mysterious Nanaki village. The village of Nanaki is considered a utopia and the perfect escape from their troubles, but it soon becomes clear that there is much more going on than anyone could have predicted.
Between the often lazy visuals, the absurd plot twists, and how increasingly unlikable the cast becomes, The Lost Village it fails to be a dark mystery in every aspect and even fails to enter the territory of being evil to the point of being funny. Series creator Mari Okada has written many iconic anime such as Lupine III: The Woman Called Fujiko Mine, O maidens in your wild seasonand Anohana: the flower we saw that daybut unfortunately, The Lost Village does a poor job of showing what she is capable of as a writer.

Harem anime are always controversial with fans and critics alike, and with how bad the pacing tends to be, combined with its predictable story beats and largely unlikable protagonist, Hire a girlfriend is one of the worst harem anime to watch, due to how much it fits into the worst tropes of the genre. Great harem anime like Nisekoi, Bravo Girlsand Girlfriend, girlfriend show how fun a harem anime can be with the right execution, but unfortunately, very little of that charm can be seen in Hire a girlfriend.

Although promotional material painted a promising picture of Uzumakisuccess when the anime finally premiered UzumakiThe terrible art and animation, combined with its strange pacing that ruined the tension of the manga, made it one of the worst horror anime in recent years, by far.. Junji Ito is one of manga's greatest horror writers, but the anime adaptations of his works always fail to properly translate things into animation, and Uzumaki it's the worst attempt to do so yet.

GEMBA, Millepensee and Liden Films' Furious is the second TV adaptation of Kentaro Miura's legendary dark fantasy manga. First released in 2016, the anime was the first adaptation to move beyond the manga's Golden Age arc, the anime focusing on Guts' adventures in the present hunting Griffith in his quest for revenge.
One thing is for 2016 Furious anime has some of the worst CGI of any anime, but when combined with its short runtime and lackluster direction, the 2016 Furious the anime does a poor job of bringing Kentaro Miura's work to life due to a combination of poor pacing and terrible visuals. There will never be one Furious anime that fully captures the strengths of the manga, but those unfamiliar with the series will be much better off watching the original 90s anime.

Lerche's Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope's Peak High School is the grand finale of the Hope's Peak Academy arc of Danganronpa video game franchise. The series is divided into two different and alternating stories: Future Arcwhich saw Naegi and the Future Foundation thrown into another deadly Monokuma game as they debated the fate of the Remnants of Despair, and Arc of Despairwhich served as the origin story for Remnants of Despair and the plot as a whole.
Naturally, the anime doesn't work for those who haven't played the games, but even for long-time fans, Danganronpa 3 is a terrible anime for its confusing retcons, an overabundance of new characters, and its generally terrible plot intended to provide a forced happy ending. It's a terrible ending to an iconic game series, and fans old and new would be better off ignoring it entirely.

Guilty Crown
Production I.G. anime series; Directed by Tetsuro Araki
In Production IG's Guilty CrownJapan has become a police state under the control of GHQ in their supposed attempt to contain the outbreak of the Apocalypse Virus. GHQ faces opposition from the terrorist organization Funeral Parlor, and after a chance meeting with popular singer Inori Yuzuriha, ordinary student Shu Ouma becomes embroiled in their conflict when he accidentally inherits a powerful genetic weapon called the Void Genome.
Guilty CrownThe art, animation, and music are some of the best of any Production I.G. anime, but unfortunately, Guilty CrownThe bad pacing, boring characters, and terrible writing make it one of the worst anime a person can watch. Guilty Crown tries and fails to capture the same aesthetic it did Geass Code a success, and with how terribly it fails, Guilty Crown is easily the worst anime to introduce to newbies.
