I just realized that a character who died in Agatha all along was never meant to die

Notice! This article contains Agatha spoilers throughout.

Agatha all the time
was one of the deadliest shows in the MCU as far as main characters go, but looking back on the series, I think a character should never die. With Agatha all the time Continuing Wanda Maximoff’s legacy after her death, it’s amazing to see how her old friend/secret witch, Agatha, is doing. Agatha’s journey on the road and the company of a small clan was an incredible insight into the character, and I can hold up my hands and admit that the ending really surprised me.

However, although I had already guessed that Agatha would die, considering that her character in the comics often appears as a ghost and this is a natural progression to her redemption arc, I was surprised by the many other deaths in the series. The Witch Road is nothing if not incredibly dangerous to the Witches traveling along it, but when the truth was revealed about the road and Billy Maximoff’s reality-manipulating powers, it reset many moments throughout the rest of the story. Agatha all the time.

Agatha All Along’s Finale Revealed The Witch’s Way Was a Cheat

The Witches Road was a work of fiction

Although the road itself was shown to not be real, the final episode of Agatha all the time explored the true origin of the ballad and the legend of the road. It turns out that Agatha and her son, Nicholas Scratch, invented the song as a way to sing and relax on their walks along windy roads. But as they refined the ballad, they discovered it was a perfect melody for Sing to the local witches and convince them of a mysterious road that leads to great treasure.

After Nicholas’ death, his song lived on as witches spread stories about the legendary road and Agatha Harkness, the only survivor to make the journey. However, this was all a facade, used by Agatha to lure the witches to a secluded locationridiculing them for summoning the wrong road and then absorbing their powers when they tried to attack her. And considering Agatha’s age and power, at the time WandaVision appeared, she was able to use this legend very successfully.

Agatha never intended for Sharon Davis to die

Sharon Davis should survive “The Witches Road”

When I watched it again Agatha all the time In episode 2, where the witches gather and summon the road together, it was highlighted that Agatha dragged Sharon Davis, aka Mrs. Hart, along for the ride, considering she was a mortal. But looking at Agatha’s face and seeing her attempt to ridicule the other witches after they sang the ballad, it’s clear that she planned to do the same thing to them as she has done to countless witches before. But Sharon Davis couldn’t have done anything to stop itnor could she attack with magic, which would mean she survived the terrible ordeal.

This could have been triggering and traumatizing for the elderly woman, but it’s unlikely to have killed her, and it appears this was Agatha’s plan all along.

The point is that Sharon has been through a crisis with a witch before. While under Scarlet Witch’s spell, Sharon had front row seats as the boss’s wife, even sneaking into Wanda and Vision’s house while under Wanda’s spell. Her husband died and she saw the terrible battle between Wanda and Agatha, so it’s likely the truth is that she wasn’t a fan of witches. This could have been triggering and traumatizing for the elderly woman, but it is I would hardly have killed herand it seems like that was Agatha’s plan all along.

Sharon Davis’ death hurts more knowing that Agatha never planned to kill her

Agatha always had a different plan

If Sharon was never meant to die, and Agatha simply intended to use her as part of the charade, as she often does, it makes it even worse that she was the first to die. Not only did she die through Billy’s Wiccan powers, but she died an unnecessary death. She was not a green witch and had no in-depth knowledge of magic. But despite being the survivor of the West View tragedies, she was swept up in another fairytale ride and killed at the end of the first trial.

She was also subject to being part of two Maximoff family spells, with both placing her in dangerous situations that affected her husband and then her. While Agatha may be a cleaner, dryer villain, the horrors and suffering Sharon faced could have been completely avoided. Yes, Agatha dragged her unwittingly, but she could have lived a happy and peaceful life if it weren’t for the distorted truth in Agatha all the timeAgatha lied and Billy believed her.
