Ortega is a compelling protagonist who effectively creates and embodies dynamic characters. And considering her range of experience, she could be a perfect addition to the MCU before the next Avengers: Judgment Day and Avengers: Secret Wars films.

Although this moment was an important scene, and serves as Ortega’s debut in the MCUin the grand scheme of things, it was minor. Therefore, if the MCU intends to bring Ortega into a more substantial role, it would make sense to start from scratch. Of course, they could choose to tie this character to whatever role Ortega ends up playing, but to avoid confusion and complications, it’s worth starting over.

Angela Del Toro would be the perfect role for Jenna Ortega
Jenna Ortega plays many roles where she is fierce, smart, quick-witted, and often a bit of a loner. Therefore, whoever she plays needs to embody similar qualities and strengths that would allow Ortega to shine in the role. For this reason, Angela Del Toro, aka The White Tiger perfectly matches Ortega’s style and skills. Del Toro is an incredibly intelligent young woman who has rapidly advanced through her studies in law and criminology. After graduating, Del Toro became an FBI agent and tried to fight crime through these legitimate methods.
However, when her uncle, Hector Ayala, was killed, Angela inherited the Tiger’s mystical amulets. After some advice from Daredevil and Del Toro recognizing that she could do more as the White Tiger than with the FBI, she took up the mantle and began her career as a street-fighting vigilante hero. Street Heroes seems like a great place to insert Ortega and update her as an MCU hero. And it seems that the MCU is already laying the groundwork to introduce the hero.

Daredevil: Born Again is already setting up the white tiger’s origin story
At 2024’s D23 celebration, Disney gave a sneak peek at what’s to come Daredevil: Born Againwhich included the White Tiger. However, it wasn’t Angela Del Toro’s version of the character, it was the male version, Hector Ayala. The clip also appears to portray the death of the White Tigerwhich would give rise to Angela Del Toro’s version of the White Tiger. If this story unfolds in Daredevil: Born Againand Angela is introduced after Heitor’s death, or is this setting up the events of Daredevil: Born Again season 2 is unclear.
With Marvel confirming that season 2 is filming in early 2025, it’s clear that they already have a plan in place and it would be an ideal time to bring Del Toro’s White Tiger into the MCU. And who better to play the character than the incredible and talented Jenna Ortega. However, if it doesn’t work out for the character to be introduced so soon, it is possible that she will arrive Avengers: Judgment Day or Avengers: Secret Warswhich will likely include dozens of heroes and could introduce some of the heroes yet to be seen in the MCU, thanks to multiverse crossovers.
