Married at first sight Season 18 has been stressing out viewers throughout the season, and with very little looking like that will change in the next run of episodes, I changed my mind about believing the season will be a success. All over Married at first sight running, there were seasons that I was more interested in than others, and there were seasons that I stayed away from. While I was hopeful that Married at first sight season 18 would bring back the magic of previous seasons after a disastrous MAFS season 17, things are sour.
Throughout the season, couples who Married at first sight Season 18's experts proved lackluster as they progressed through the experiment. The experts, Dr. Pepper Schwartz, Dr. Pia Holec, and Pastor Cal Roberson, have struggled in recent matchmaking cycles, pairing just two matches in six seasons. Although there is some potential tension arising between the MAFS For experts, the problem seems to be less in the ability to work together and more in the way participants are cast in the program. Specialists may be able to do better with a more open cast.
Even so, Married at first sight season 18 was difficult to deal with. The cast has not been guided by experts, so their relationships have been strained. With couples quickly moving from marriage to honeymoon, experts were not present for the first leg of their relationship, which made it more difficult for them to deal with some important early issues. The season that promised a franchise first MAFS Season 18's cheating scandal appears to be headed for disaster as the couples aren't making connections. I changed my mind about MAFS season 18 and I'm struggling to stay invested.
MAFS season 18 was created to revitalize the series
MAFS Season 17 Was a Huge Disaster
As MAFS seasons are typically filmed in overlapping fashion, Seasons are not traditionally meant to serve as a “fix” when the previous season doesn’t go well. Even so, Married at first sight viewers were hopeful that the current season of the series would serve as a better look at the experiment than its predecessor. Married at first sight Season 17, filmed in Denver, brought together a cast of ten singles excited about the experiment, but after a runaway bride, a second marriage and a historic scandal, the season ended up being more infamous than loved.
Over the course of the season, eight of the ten participants played the experiment, being hypocrites instead of sharing their authentic stories in Married at first sight. With several couples working hard to fool experts, producers and viewers by creating stories they thought would show them in a good light, the MAFS The Season 17 cast fought to keep the integrity of the experiment fully intact throughout the season. By lying about their feelings, the goings-on in their marriages, and during counseling sessions, they painted the show a bad light without any intention of cleaning up their mess.
The 18th season of MAFS will feature the series' first couple exchange
The cheating scandal will end in return
All over Married at first sight season 18, there is an imminent promise of incredible drama. Before the season, Dr. Pia teased in a MAFS season 18 trailer that it would be the first time in the franchise with a cheating scandal bringing two of the pairs expertly MAFS couples to a screeching halt. With two of the participants discovering an attraction to each other outside of marriageThe cheating scandal was expected to end in a couple swap, with the MAFS season 18 cast members who cheated, entering into a whole new relationship as the season begins to end.
While there hasn't been much fuss surrounding the cheating and couple-swapping scandal, other than its existence being acknowledged by the show's trailers, it's still to come MAFS season 18. With several couples struggling with their connections on the series, it's still unclear who will take part Married at first sight season 18 couple swap. Still, MAFS viewers have struggled to connect with either couple, knowing that things could change at any moment. With the cheating scandal coming, couples do not feel solidified Married at first sight season 18.
I believe the MAFS Season 18 cheating scandal is a failure for the show
Not making viewers believe in the process
Although I am interested in the drama that MAFS the exchange of couples will bring, the cheating scandal itself makes me feel like this season Married at first sight it's a failure. As experts have continually struggled to find matches, knowing that two of the participants felt so strongly attached to each other, rather than the spouses who were chosen for them, doesn't give me confidence in the experts. Furthermore, I don't feel I have any confidence in the experiment still working for the remainder Married at first sight couples considering the drama they are experiencing.
