In my opinion, Pedro Jimeno is not as bad as The Chantel family made him go. I was excited when I first saw Pedro and Chantel Everett overcome family drama and get married 90 Day Fiance season 4. I thought they had the potential to be an influential couple, like Loren and Alexei Brovarnik or David Toborowsky and Annie Suwan. Unfortunately, Pedro and Chantel disappointed viewers, including me, by making poor decisions. They allowed their families to cause them problemsleading to endless drama.
When Pedro and Chantel returned to The Chantel family In Season 4 and bought a new house, they seemed excited about living independently away from their families. However, they struggled to overcome past issues and deal with continued interference from their family members. Pedro began to distance himself from Chantelleading to speculation that he was being unfaithful to her. This and his disrespectful behavior damaged his reputation and made him look like a terrible husband. In The Chantel family In Season 4, I finally watched Pedro asking Chantel for a divorce, leading to the tumultuous end of their marriage.
Pedro just realized that he and Chantel weren't meant to exist
Pedro wanted Chantel to show greater ambition
Most viewers were angry with Pedro for the way he ended his relationship with Chantel. However, now that emotions have calmed, I can recognize that Peter was not wrong in his actions. At some point in the relationship, Pedro realized that he would not be able to save his marriage with Chantel.
He discovered Chantel would never meet his expectations as a wife. Raised in a middle-class family in the Dominican Republic, Pedro aspired to achieve great things in adulthood. Pedro realized, after a few years of marriage, that Chantel did not share the same zeal for life as he did.
I find it difficult to blame Pedro for the way he separated from Chantel.
There was no way he could end things amicably by asking Chantel for a divorce after she brought him to the United States on a K-1 visa. Initially, he tried to ignore the problem by focusing on his work, but that only made him look worse and made Chantel feel like she was cheating on her colleagues. Ultimately, the TLC star had to file for divorce from Chantel because he didn't see a future with her.
Chantel's mother Karen was more of a villain than Pedro
Karen turned Chantel and Pedro against each other I believe Pedro was unfairly blamed when other cast members were the real villains in his relationship with Chantel.
Chantel's mother, Karen Everett, was a troublemaker from the beginning. Karen seemed to take on the role of the show's main star, trying to appear intimidating. She accused Pedro of being a “sanky panky” and even threatened to shock him. Karen was the source of the conflict between Pedro and Chantel, generating numerous fights and family disputes that could have been avoided if she had not interfered in her daughter's wedding.
Karen never tried to improve things between Pedro and Chantel. Instead, she used her influence to turn her daughter against Pedro.
She even caused one of the most intense fights when she invited Pedro and his sister, Nicole Jimeno, to dinner and provoked an argument. The situation worsened with Pedro fighting Chantel's brother, Riverknight. However, Karen took no action to resolve the conflict; instead, she remained in the background, enjoying the drama. Karen wasn't the only villain; I believe Pedro's mother, Lidia Morel, and his sister, Nicole, were equally guilty of causing irreparable harm to Pedro and Chantel's relationship.
Will Pedro ever redeem himself in a spin-off?
Pedro maintains laser focus on his work
I believe that Pedro has repaired his public image, regaining a high rating in his business profile. While it may seem like a good opportunity for him to return to TV, I don't think it would be profitable. Unlike Chantel and her family, Pedro isn't primarily concerned with becoming a famous reality TV star.
Instead, he is focused on succeeding in his career as a real estate agent and living a drama-free life. Furthermore, it appears that The Chantel family the alum is not open to sharing his romantic life, as evidenced by the absence of relationship-related content on his social media.
