And in the latest arc, it seems that one of her aspects, the posthumous Nen, could change the rules of the game and determine the winners of the Succession War.
In Chapter No. 401 Hunter x HunterIt is revealed that Beyond Netero has installed guards with powerful curses in the factions of every prince except one, who is his child. These guards are Netero's secret children, whom he manipulated to get close to the princes and destroy them with the powerful Nen curse. For the curse to take effect, the host must die and the posthumous Nen will kill the target. Since the end of the Chimera Ants arc, posthumous nen has become increasingly relevant, and now in the Heritage War arc. he will decide who will remain standing.
Posthumous Nen is an incredibly powerful property of the energy system
In the Succession War arc, posthumous Nen becomes more and more relevant.
Death Nen is a Nen stat in which the user dies, but the abilities continue to exist, and this Nen becomes much more powerful than before the user died. The ability usually continues to exist because of the person's resentment or hatred towards someone. They are very difficult to exorcise or remove, and there are very few exorcists in the world who can remove them. An example of postmortem Nen is that Pitou continued to fight while Terpsichore was manipulating her body, even after she was killed. This was due to her strong emotions and desire to protect the king from Gon.
Another example: when Kurapika forced Chrollo into a permanent Zetsu state using a chain of judgments after the conditions have been created. Kurapika revealed that even if he died, Chrollo would still not be able to use Nen, and this ability would remain unless she was exiled, which was the case. Misha Hao, a member of the Xi-Yu family, got rid of the body after she died for her faction, and once she got rid of the body, her abilities disappeared.
Chrollo's Sun and Moon ability also relies heavily on posthumous Nen, which is why it has not disappeared from his Book despite the death of the original owner. Hisoka managed to be revived with the help of a posthumous Nen after being killed by Chrollo, and is now one of the main antagonists in the arc. Moreover, Beyond Netero is not the only one who uses curses to attack other princes.. Second Prince Camille also uses the same strategy, but judging by the conditions required to activate the curse, Beyond's curses are much more powerful.

Beyond the Curse, Netero is Unstoppable
A type of curse that has been years in the making
What really makes the post-mortem study of Beyond Netero's Nen chilling is how there is no one on the ship who is confirmed to be able to banish curses. This means that he is free to do as he pleases. Moreover, the amount of time and conditions set for activation means that this Nen is very deadly as this plan has been in the making for decades. The fact that he hasn't activated it yet means he's working on it and most likely has a plan to meet the requirements.
This reveal has likely started a countdown of many deaths as the Princes will begin dropping like flies to make way for the conclusion of this arc. Although Kurapika and Woble are safe from Beyond's plans, for now the protagonist has an incentive to search for Beyond's real child and help Prince Tuppa in the process. It will be interesting how he copes with this turn of events. Hunter x Hunternew growth in use posthumous Nan and curses.
