Hunter x Hunter is finally returned to the pages of Weekly Sean Jump After 2 years of excruciating hiatus, and fans can finally see the continuation of what is looking to be the best arc of the series yet. With less than a month to go, here’s when and where fans can read the next chapter of the series.
The series is currently in the Succession War arc, an arc with multiple branching storylines that is about to connect and result in the most impressive stretch of chapters yet. With Kurapika as the main character, the avenger is tasked with defending the prince of Kakin against the 13 other princesses in a contest to kill each other and the last one standing to become the king. In addition, other players such as the Phantom Troop, Zodiacs, Hisoka and the Kakin Mafia are involved and will definitely play a part in this blood-filled story.

What will happen in Hunter X Hunter Chapter #401?
An unlikely prince starts his move
With how many plot points and storylines are happening simultaneously, it’s hard to predict what the chapter will focus on, but there’s a good chance that the next chapters will still have the Phantom Troupe as the headliners. Before taking on Morena and her gang, the three will descend to level 4 to get Franklin and will only go up once they get him, unless there is an unforeseen interruption.
Melody’s dilemma with rescuing Fugetsu makes her more worried, and while she has ruled out Zhang Lei and Cerendich as the culprits, there is still Benjamin, Tubepa and Luzrus that she needs to find. Furthermore, all three are more aggressive in meeting her and even offer to pardon her for assisting Prince Kacho’s attempted escape.
Kurapika’s deal with Tubeppa is still unknownEspecially, because Kurapik was the one who came across it. It seems that Fifth Prince Tubeppa is becoming more active in the succession war, as he has begun to seek an alliance of sorts with Melody and Kurapika, so fans can expect the wild card to be more important.
Hunter x Hunter is at its most interesting, and fans will witness this political thriller in action after so long. There are already 60 chapters so far in this arc, so the series is getting closer to tying up the various plot points. Although The Succession War feels draggy at times, this is mostly because of the hiatuses the author is forced to take. The story, read in sequence, is as exciting as fans of Hunter x Hunter are used to, and the new batch of chapters will surely bring new developments and plot twists.
