Who are the immortal weapons?
Iron Fist is just one of several world-class warriors
The Immortal Weapons are an aspect of Iron Fist lore that was introduced in the 2007s Immortal Iron Fist #8By Ed Brubaker, Matt Fraction and David Aja. Just as Iron FIst is K’un-Lon’s chosen warrior, there are seven others Mystical cities (aka the Seven Capital Cities of Heaven), each with their own protector. Each hero is the last link in a chain of legendary warriors, with their own unique powers and expertise. While one of the ‘Capital Cities of Heaven’ was locked until recently and the other was missing a champion since they were killed by Iron Fist’s predecessor, the traditional list of the Immortal Weapons is as follows:

Each of these beings killed an immortal dragon in order to claim their title, and has spent their lives fighting aliens, monsters and each other to hone their abilities. Apparently, in the new timeline created by the Maker, the Seven Capital Cities of Heaven were captured by his regime and their protectors given to the Hulk. The Immortal Weapons have no prior connection to Hulk lore, making this a major surprise of the Ultimate Universe. However, Al Ewing and Joe Bennett’s celebrated Immortal Hulk used the same adjective, perhaps inspiring this explosive new development.
