Players who purchased The Vale storybook expansion pack for Disney Dreamlight Valley There’s a lot of new content to explore. The expansion comes with an entirely new world, similar to what players received with A rift in time. Along with the new world, players also receive new missions, new characters and an entirely new story.
The Valley Storybook story revolves around the villains Maleficent and Hadesthat caused problems within Vale. As players work to resolve the problems caused by the two villains, they will encounter other characters in Dreamlight Valley along the way. One of these characters is none other than the charming Flynn Ryder from Tangled.
How to unlock Flynn Ryder
Unlock the Wild Woods area
To unlock Flynn Ryder in Disney Dreamlight Valley: Storybook Valleyfirst travel to Storybook Valley and complete Merida’s initial mission. After finishing Welcome to Storybook Vale and A new chapter and you’ve unlocked the Bind biome, you’ll be free to unlock other biomes, including the one where Flynn Ryder is.
There are a few places to access The Wild Woods, but each one will require Storybook Magic. The cheapest is located on the west side of The Bind.
Go there, interact with Inkie and unlock The Wild Woods for 2,000 Storybook Magic. Unlocking The Wild Woods will start the quest “The Wolf of Nature.” Explore The Wild Woods until you finally happen in a mysterious portal. Go to the Library of Lore and talk to the Lorekeeper about the mysterious portal, then talk to Merida. Merida will accompany you back to The Wild Woods.
Continue with the mission, following Merida back to the mysterious portal. You will then need find the lost wheel near the fountain to proceed. Return the Lost Wheel to the portal and use your Royal Network on it. This completes “The Wolf of Nature” mission and begins “A sheep in wolf’s clothing.”

Go through the portal and explore the new area in Disney Dreamlight Valley Storybook Vale. Keep moving forward, investigating the strange growl you have heard. Your investigation will lead you to a door. Approach the door and interact with it. The next part of the quest will have you trying to prove that the wolf behind the door is not a wolf. To do this, you need to refute:

What a fierce howl he has
Search the area for evidence. You are going I need Wolfish slippers, Eau de Wolf and a howling gramophone for that. These items can be found by exploring the staging area. Each piece of evidence is locked behind a door that can be opened using your Royal Net.
Inside a room, you will find rotating blocks. You must combine these blocks with solutions painted on the walls of the room. The solutions are hidden behind rocks, so use your pickaxe to remove them. The order of the blocks is:
Collect the Wolfish Slippers and go to the next room. Your next puzzle requires you to make a wolf scent using oil, wolf fur and forest pine fragrance. Collect these items from the side and use them at the bonfire to create the colony.
In the third and final room, you will have the task of placing a piece of furniture in three different locations. This puzzle is based on the “Three little pigs” story. Use the materials according to the unfolding of the story. Place the hay bale in the first area, the wood in the second, and the brick in the third. This rewards you with the Howling Gramophone.
Once you have the evidence, head back to the door. Talk to the door, exhausting all dialogue options. The door will open, revealing Flynn Ryder.
Go past Flynn and interact with the source of the curse. Doing so will cause a beanstalk to grow towards Maleficent’s castle and give you access to Flynn’s house. Place Flynn’s house inside Storybook Valley in Disney Dreamlight Valley to finally have it fully unlocked.
