The Live-Action adaptation arrives in 2025
The live-action release date How to train your dragon the remake was originally set for March 2025. Filming was supposed to begin in June 2023. Nico Park (The last of us) is taking on the role of Astrid, and Gerard Butler has signed on to reprise his role as Stoick the VastHiccup's father. Several other newcomers were also added to the cast, including funnyman Nick Frost as Gobber the Belch.
Popular supporting roles like Fishlegs went to newcomer Julian Dennison, while Snotlout will be played by Gabriel Howell. Bronwyn James and Harry Trevaldwyn will play Ruffnut and Tuffnut, respectively, while Ruth Codd will play Phlegma. The animated films feature a large ensemble and it is assumed that more characters will be announced as the film gets closer to its release date.

Therefore, he uses his talent for invention to create new ways to defeat Dragons.
This leads Hiccup to capture a Night Fury, one of the rarest and most dangerous varieties of Dragon, but Hiccup soon discovers that the Night Fury, whom he calls Toothless, is not as fearsome as he first appeared. He trains Toothless, proving that Vikings and Dragons can coexist. This begins a new era of Dragon Riders on Berk, spawning several sequels and spin-off TV shows from the incredibly successful but simple premise. After a long wait, Universal has revealed a trailer for How to train your dragon in November 2024. The short provocation opens with photos of the island of Berk, as well as the Vikings who inhabit the Norse island. Hiccup is introduced while talking to his father, Stoick, who informs his son that one day he will be a great dragon-slaying Viking warrior. Not sure he can dispatch the creatures, the final scene recreates the iconic first meeting between Hiccup and his new dragon friend, Toothless.
