One of the hardest puzzles you will find Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is the Resonance Chamber, which appears during the Giza chapter. Part of the main story quest “The idol of Ra“the Resonance Chamber requires an innate understanding of many of the game's systems, along with a keen eye and a willingness to research and experiment. It has consistently confused players since the game was released, and even with Indy's photography tips , may still seem overly difficult, even for an experienced player.
Again, the Resonance Chamber puzzle is part of “The idol of Ra“then it's a must-see and a must-see. You'll need to find and solve it as you search the areas below Khafre's excavation site, when you find a hidden entrance at the base of a pyramid and must break it with a sledgehammer. Upon arrival When entering the Resonance Chamber, you will notice a few things immediately: three statues and four boards, which will be your tools to solve this puzzle. See how to get started and discover the secret of the Resonance Chamber.
How to photograph tablets
First bedroom tablets
Firstly, look around the Resonance Chamber itself. You will notice (and Indy will probably comment on) the boards mounted on the walls around the statues, which he deduces are in the Adamic language. To proceed with the mission, you will have to take photos of all the Adamic tablets. Start with the four in this room (there are more later), all shown above.
When lining up a photo, try to make the caption appear above the frame to get the perfect photo. Indy should make a comment about the content of the photo, and you should earn some Adventure Points if you did everything right.
Note that one of the tablets is broken – we'll get to that later. After taking photos from the tablets, you will be asked to check Laura's Diarywhat should you do. You'll see a brief cutscene before moving on to the next phase of the mission.
Finding the secret passage and the last two pills
As Indy takes photos of the tablets in the Chamber, he reads the words written on them. This causes a small opening to appear in the wall next to the first tablet pictured in the gallery above. Crouch and crawl through it, and you will enter a narrow, dark hallway. First, you will find two more tablets on your left; light the brazier below them for good lighting and then take more photos.
Then at the end of the hall you will find the missing piece of the broken tablet. Grab the staff next to it and use it to open a hole in the cracked wall on the right, then grab the tablet and return to the main room with three statues. Return the broken piece of tablet to its place and take another photo of the completed tablet.
Resonance Chamber Puzzle Solution
Saying a prayer
You should now have photos of all six tablets below the Giza pyramid and be back in the main room. Indy is likely to verbally comment on your progress. If he doesn't and cannot continue the mission, see if taking additional photos of the tablets allows you to proceed. It can be difficult to align photos correctly.
Walk over to the middle statue and Indy will place all six photos on its pedestal. Take a moment to Go over each one of them and write down their names: “The Lord“,” “Attention“,” “The secret“,” “Oath“,” “From the name“,” “Protect.” Also note the six holes in the front of the pedestal, which will become important soon.
Your goal here is rearrange these six Adamic fragments into a coherent sentence (or actually two sentences) by clicking them in the correct order. Each time you get it right, one of the holes in the pedestal will start leaking sand, so you can theoretically force this puzzle by guessing and checking repeatedly. If you want to skip some steps, the solution is as follows:
“Hear the oath of the Lord. Protect the secret of the name.”
In other words, You will want to interact with the photos in the following order: 2, 1, 4, 6, 3 and 5. Fortunately, Adamic uses the same sentence structure as English – lucky you. With this, you will have solved the Resonance Chamber puzzle and the sand will begin to flow under Indy's feet. He will go down a small slide and land in a new area, at the end of which he will await his next puzzle. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: the Chamber of Light.
