How to share some sweetness and taste some sweetness

Marshmallows have arrived Disney Dreamlight Valley As part of the End of Summer Event, allowing players to prepare two new recipes that can be savored and shared with others around the valley. The End of Summer Event is a limited-time event that runs from September 4 to September 26, 2024, during which exclusive blue and pink marshmallows can be found in the valley.

These marshmallows are essential to making the two new Summer Event recipes, s’mores and roasted marshmallows. While pink marshmallows will appear on bushes to be collected, the blue marshmallows will only appear as small objects on the ground that can be collected in specific biomes. Remember, both of these items will disappear when the event ends, so don’t waste time.

Where to find pink and blue marshmallows

Use marshmallows to create s’mores and roasted marshmallows

The main part of this event, before you can even attempt the tasks, is that you will need to find pink marshmallows and blue marshmallows, which will be used to create recipes that have been provided for you through your in-game mailbox. As soon as you enter your game during the event, you should see some newly spawned bushes in the plaza, similar to how some eggs appeared for the Eggstravaganza Event.

There are three of them in total, exclusive to the plaza, and they contain pink marshmallows that can be collected. You’ll get four pink marshmallows every time you harvest a bush, and they’ll each take about 30 minutes to respawn.. As for the blue marshmallows, there are no bushes to look for. Instead, they will simply be found lying on the ground in the southern biomes. The biomes to check include The Plaza, Peaceful Meadow, Dazzle Beach, Glade of Trust and the Forest of Valor.

Even if you meet your requirements for these tasks, I would recommend still collecting and filling a chest with some of the event items, because you can still make the high-energy recipes once the event ends if you have the ingredients.

After finding a few of each, you will be able to use them to make two different recipes. The first recipe is s’mores and the other is roasted marshmallows. You will need both to complete the two Dreamlight duties for the event.

Dish

Recipe

Benefits

S’mores

  • 1x Pink Marshmallow

  • 1x Blue Marshmallow

  • 2x wheat

  • Sold for 156 gold coins

  • Gives 1,832 energy

Roasted marshmallows

  • 2x pink marshmallows

  • 2x blue marshmallows

Although the Blue Marshmallows can be found in some biomes and thus feel more abundant, they are not. Each blue marshmallow collected will only count for one and, more importantly, because they are so small, you won’t be able to see them easily, especially if your biomes are heavily decorated or crowded. Although it is randomized, I managed to find the majority of my blue marshmallow sponges in the peaceful meadow, So I recommend checking there most often.

How to enjoy some sweetness

Eat some s’mores or roasted marshmallows

Although the Dreamlight duties do not specify this, the recipes for each job are different. While players can use S’mores or roasted marshmallows to complete the task, Only roasted marshmallows can be used to complete sharing some sweetness. As for what is required of you, the names do at least give you clues to that. For savoring some sweetness, you will need to cook one of the recipes and then eat them.

However, since the task requires a total of 25 attempts to complete it, You will have to make and use the recipes a total of 25 times. This is why it is important not to waste time ignoring the tasks until the end of the event, because each recipe requires more than one type of marshmallow, and they have cooling periods before they respawn. Therefore, if you wait too long, you may not have enough time to collect everything you need.

Once you finish savoring some sweetness, You will be rewarded with the hiking backpackA back item that you can equip for your character at any time through the Disney Dreamlight Valley Wardrobe customization tab.

Cook and gift roasted marshmallows to your villagers

While the Savor Some Sweetness task is a bit more flexible, the Share Some Sweetness task is not. For this dreamlight duty, you will only be able to use roasted marshmallows. Therefore, if you give S’mores or even simply marshmallows to other villagers, this will not count, and you will just waste the items. unfortunately, The roasted marshmallows require two of each type of marshmallow per dishSo you will need exactly double the amount you used to complete Savor some sweetness.

Once you have collected enough marshmallows, head to any cooking station and prepare the dish. With it in hand, you can go and serve it to Dreamlight Valley villagers by simply handing it to them. While you can use both recipes for the Savor some sweetness work, it is recommended that you only use S’mores for this one, because they are easier to make, and you can just use roasted marshmallows for this one.

After completing the Share Some Sweetness Dreamlight Duty, you will be rewarded with a birding tip. This is a necklace item that resembles a pair of bronze binoculars that can be equipped through the wardrobe customization menu. Note that both rewards are currently exclusive to the Disney Dreamlight Valley End of summer event, so if you miss them now, you may never be able to get them again.
