There are eight survivors who can make it out Till Dawn remake. Over the course of 10 chapters, you will make choices that can determine the fate of everyone. Some of these are quick reactions, while others are more calculated options. While saving everyone is the most ideal ending, certain routes, scenes and dialogue can happen if certain characters have died. This makes it worthwhile to have both a perfect run, but also play through multiple times to see all the outcomes.
The remake makes several changes from the original release of Until then. Firesprite is working on a sequel 10 years later. Some of the plot threads have been inserted into this new release. Mechanically, you don’t need to do anything else. Instead, veteran players will be treated to new information and scenes by using most of the same methods to help the protagonists. For newcomers, the experience is seamlessly integrated even if you’ve never played the 2015 game.
Rely on others – saving Jessica, Matt and Ashley
Heroes that can easily die when not controlled
Jessica, Matt, and Ashley are the three characters most likely to suffer from the actions of their peers in Until then. They can have some agency over their own fate, but mostly as a fail-safe if someone has already died or made some other kind of unfortunate decision. In a perfect run, Jessica is completely unplayable And is at the mercy of Mike and Matt.
Decisions to save Jessica
Jessica is one of the first to be attacked and goes missing Until then. For most of the storyline, many assume she just died. You have to wait all the way to Chapter 9 to learn that she is alive.

Critical Choices – Saving Emily and Chris
They can mostly blame themselves
Emily and Chris have the most urgency and chances to immediately end their own lives. They can still be killed by others, but this mostly comes from making a previous mistake Until then. If you finish quickly without missing, some of the worst choices will be skipped.
Decisions to save Emily
Emily has to deal with some rather punishing quick-time events. QTEs in Biz Down are harder than the quarry. Do not be surprised if Emily unexpectedly dies and requires a rest to fully understand the timing.
YouTuber GetRektNoob Shown the difference between the chase in the original and the remake of Until then. Most of the mechanics are the same, but the buttons on the screen are less pronounced. It is a good idea to memorize your control scheme rather than relying on prompts.

Nearly invincible – save Mike, Sam and Josh
Plot Armor makes choices minimal
Mike, Sam and Josh are the three plot-critical people in Until then. You can make some terrible decisions early on and they will simply live for most of the game. It is only near the end that they become susceptible to death.
Decisions to save Mike
Similar to Jessica, Mike does not make any important decisions if you are already on a perfect route Until then. Whether he lives or dies is entirely based on actions taken by Sam. It is only when Sam is dead that you have to control Mike directly.
