Indiana Jones and the Great Circle puts you in Indy's boots and behind the lens of a camera to record it all. Bethesda's newest release lets you solve puzzles, embark on new adventures and face Nazis, starting in Vatican City and then traveling across the world. Puzzle features inside Indiana Jones and the Great Circle are complex and provide vital experiences to overcome challenges progressing through the rest of the game.
Photography is a big part Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. Indy uses photographs to take photos of the adventure and also to make valuable notes for different locations or puzzles, like the mystery of Fortune's Reach. The camera is used in the game's main puzzles to provide extra hints prompting Indy to talk more about the puzzle and suggest what should be done after taking a photo of the main puzzle. How to get the device
The first opportunity for you discover that the camera is for sale in Vatican City. Since you don't start with the Camera, you must progress through some introductory missions to acquire the Clerical Suit disguise. When leaving the Apostolic Library, you should head towards the Belvedere Courtyard in the area before turning left into the next available street. When you reach Via Di Belvedere, you must bypass the fascists at the door, who do not allow anyone to enter the area. This is where things start to get interesting for Indy.
To access this area, you'll have to get creative with your parkour strategies to pick up some useful items as you head to the Post Office area. There are several ways to reach the target area, but the easiest way is to go to the little dead end near the door. There is some scaffolding nearby where you can throw your whip, keeping it safely out of sight of the Blackshirts while getting it where it needs to be.
From here, you can climb the scaffolding and walk past the disinterested man enjoying his coffee despite Indy's latest antics. Jump to the roof from here and take note of the Adventure Book in this area before looking down at the street below you. Disguise no longer works in this area, so you need to be careful. There is a rather convenient zip line near Indy here that allows you to ride to the low roof outcrop on the left side of the back street. This puts you close enough to the Post Office that you just need to jump through the open window and wait for a good opportunity to cross the street after the guard and his dog pass by.
Two priests are blocking the door, trying to see what the Blackshirts are doing, so you're free to enter the maintenance staff room labeled "Facchino"to talk to a man named Ernesto. After some back and forth, Ernesto will agree to sell the Indy Camera. Unfortunately, reaching into your pocket to buy the Camera can be painful, as Ernesto wants you to shell out 379 Liras. Maybe some robberies from the local Blackshirts may be necessary to acquire this time, but Indy is not above that. Once you have enough money to purchase the Camera, interact with it at the table to purchase it so that. you can solve puzzles later and earn XP.
How to get money in the Vatican
Steal items and money
Acquiring money this early in the game is not very difficult as there are many convenient tents for enemy soldiers nearby, in the Belvedere Courtyard for you to borrow some items. While you can't rob the Camera, you can rob the tents in the area to steal money and merchandise from shelves, interior drawers, and other more obvious places. To steal these items and money, you must be extremely cautious and use stealth strategies to grab things without getting caught. Disguises won't work in this area, so you should keep your distance from the guards above all else.
Don't worry; If you are spotted, you will need to run to a safe location, such as a rooftop or a different area away from the restricted zone.
You can also find money in a variety of areas, such as in the back of guard trucks around Vatican City, in a secret boxing ring, or on tables scattered throughout the city. It would be best if you also kept an eye out for safes and chests scattered around the area, like the Belvedere Courtyard chest, to earn extra money. In addition to the Camera, having money is extremely important at this stage to buy other lost and found Post Office items in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
