Fortniteof The Winterfest 2024 event is underway and offers players some free gifts, but they probably want to know how to get the best gifts available: the Yulejacket and Santa Dogg skins. As the most distinctive cosmetic items, skins are rewards that are always highly sought after in Fortnite. To get the new Winterfest 2024 skins, you must understand the game's current system and know where to open the right gifts.

You can open a free gift daily at Fortnite's Winter Lodge until the Winterfest 2024 event ends on January 7, 2024. These gifts include in-game cosmetics such as pickaxes, sprays, and weapon skins. Some of them, like Snoop's Holladizzle Bass and Yulejacket's Blaster, were intentionally created to match the two skins available during the event. Although the Yulejacket and Santa Dogg skins are free gifts at the Winter Lodge, they are not that easy to get.

Fortnite's Yulejacket skin is the last gift players can open

The Yulejacket skin is in one of the gifts in FortniteWinter accommodation. More specifically, it's in the tall green box with the red bow. This box is located to the back right of the larger pile of gifts in front of the fireplace. However, unlike the rest of the gifts, you can't just open it and receive the reward.

When you try to open the large green box, you will be instructed to save it for last. This means you must open all other gifts before you can get the Yulejacket skin. There are currently 13 gifts available to open, and a 14th is expected to be added at some point during the event.

Since the Yulejacket skin must be opened last, you can only get it if you log in for 14 days between now and January 7th. If you haven't opened the gifts yet, you'll need to jump in right away if they want to get the Yulejacket skin. If you missed out on the Yulejacket skin, you can at least take comfort in knowing that the Santa Dogg skin is easier to get.

Fortnite's Santa Dogg skin will be available on December 25th

If you want to unlock the Santa Dogg skin, simply open it as one of your daily gifts. However, it is not in any of the boxes. Instead of, the Santa Dogg skin will be released on December 25th to coincide with Christmas Day. If you want the Santa Dogg skin as soon as possible, you'll need to make sure you're opening the correct gift to get it.

Fortunately, some data miners appear to have discovered where Snoop will be hiding. A new gift, a square box with gold wrapping, will appear on the carpet near where Snoop Dogg is sitting on the Winter Lodge couch.. While players who have already opened gifts will likely notice when a new one appears, anyone looking to log in and catch Snoop will want to look for this box.

Winterfest 2024 introduces more skins, cosmetics and gameplay features

The rest of those present in FortniteWinterfest 2024 is a mix of generic holiday items and additional cosmetics for the Yulejacket and Santa Dogg skins. In addition to the Santa Dogg and the Holladizzle bass, there is a Snoop Dogg's reindeer backpack and a pickaxe called Dogg treat. Yulejacket has an exclusive weapon skin, a matching backpack called the Yule Bag, and the Humbug Slicer pickaxe.

The store also has some new items if you want to purchase additional cosmetics for FortniteWinter Party. The Mariah Carey package features several looks and accessories from the famous singer dressed for the holidays for both Fortnite and Lego Fortnite. There is also a Santa Shaq pack, which includes a Shaq skin dressed as Santa Claus and an exclusive backpack and pickaxe. If you prefer in the universe Fortnite skins, there is also the Guffmas Tree pack and the Snowy Ops pack with festive versions of Guff and Evelynn.

In addition to the new cosmetics, Fortnite is also getting some new gameplay elements alongside Winterfest. This includes a blizzard grenade that creates an icy wind that slows and damages enemies. There are also Icy Feet, two huge ice cubes that you can use to skate around the map, even allowing you to walk on water. Finally, the event is pushing the wordplay to the limit with Sgt.
