The Sims 4 includes the recipe for a dish with special abilities that bring the dead back to life, which returned to the spotlight with the release of Life and Death expansion. This recipe is Ambrosia, a dish that can revive a dead Sim if a ghost eats it. However, a living Sim may end up eating the Ambrosia first if it is left in a location they can access, but all it does is reset their current age bar.
Given your skills, it’s not surprising that the ingredients you need to gather to make Ambrosia aren’t the easiest to collect. Having them, however, prepares you for unexpected deaths in The Sims 4. Plus, unlike most other recipes, you can’t just buy the missing ingredients when preparing the dish. You must have all the ingredients beforehand, including the frustrating Death Flower.
How to buy death flowers
Shopping at Caster’s Alley
Of course, the quickest option is to purchase a fully grown Death Flower. Depending on which expansion packs you have, you have two options for purchasing Death Flowers. If you have the Kingdom of Magic supernatural Sims pack, you can get Death Flowers without much trouble. This is because they can be sold at the Potion Ingredient Shop in Caster’s Alley, located in the secret world of the Magic Kingdom, on any given day. To get to Beco dos Casters:

Travel to Glimmerbrook.

Enter the portal on the west side of the neighborhood.

Take another portal that says it leads to Caster’s Alley.

Talk to the ghost who runs the Potions Ingredients Shop.
The store’s inventory is updated at midnight every night, so you can check daily for death flowers.
Another way to buy Death Flowers is by opening Starter Flower Seeds, which you can buy using a computer or in Build Mode. However, the chance of you getting one of these packs is very slim, and you need to open them while you are in the graveyard to have any chance of getting one. Because of this, your best option if you don’t have access to Caster’s Alley is actually Enhance your Sim’s gardening skills and obtain Death Flowers through the power of grafting.
How to Grow Death Flowers
The power of graft
The most common option to obtain a Death Flower is to grow it. If you can get one in a package or in Caster’s Alley, you can plant it and grow more flowers from it. It’s just in season during winterbut you should be able to collect a handful of the plant’s death flowers whenever the season arrives. If you weren’t able to catch a Death Flower, however, you’ll need to reach Gardening Level 5 and do some grafting.
A Death Flower requires a maximum of three grafts to create. You can get an orchid in a packet of seeds; otherwise you need graft a lily onto a snapdragon to create an orchid. You can do this by selecting the lily and choosing “Make a cut”, then selecting the snapdragon plant and grafting the seedling.
You also need a pomegranate, which follows a similar process to create. However, this time, you need take a cutting from a cherry and graft it onto an apple to get a pomegranate. Then you finish the process cutting the pomegranate and grafting it onto the orchid to obtain its final product: the Flower of Death.
At the end of this process, you will finally have your Death Flower, which is probably the most difficult ingredient for Ambrosia.. All you need to finish the recipe is a Potion of Youth and an Angelfish to complete the recipe, and then you’ll be ready to bring the dead back to life. The Sims 4.
