How to Finish the Bulletin Board Package

Friendship is one of the most important parts of Valley of the Stars experience. Interacting with the townspeople, chatting, giving gifts and doing tasks for them gives players friendship points. As these points are added up, you can receive benefits such as free items in the mail, recipes and memorable dialogues. Winning hearts with each villager can be difficult, especially when they are more reclusive characters like the Sorcerer or when they are never home when needed, like Marnie. Fortunately, the The Bulletin Board pack makes it easy to accumulate friendship points with these less active residents of Pelican Town.

Bulletin Board packages are the most diverse community center packages. Each pack requires items from all aspects Valley of the Starsincluding agriculture, livestock farming, mining, fishing and cooking. Completing this pack brings one of the most exclusive rewards: it is improve your friendship with all villagers (in addition to the twelve romantic choices) for two full hearts. This reward is great for getting more hearts for the villagers which you may not interact with as often, but also comes at the cost of one of the more expensive packages to complete at the Community Center.

How to complete the Chef package

Use ingredients from across the valley

As the name implies, the Chef Bundle focuses more on cooking than any other bundle. This pack may take longer to complete than the other Bulletin Board packs simply due to the truffle required to finish it. Truffles can can only be acquired by raising pigs on the farmso you will need at least a Deluxe Barn to get this item. The other item you may need to wait a while for is the Fiddlehead Fern, which can be found foraging in the Secret Forest (which requires an upgraded axe), but is most easily found anywhere when there is Green Rain falling Valley of the Stars during the summer. You will also need to upgrade your farmhouse at least once with Robin to unlock a kitchen.

All other items in this package can be easily purchased through cooking with simple ingredients or growing flowers during the summer. Maple syrup is especially easy to obtain as you only need to pour one rubber tapper

on a maple tree and wait seven days to produce. This is also a great passive way to build resources.

How to complete the dye package

Just like the Chef Bundle, the Dye Bundle includes two items that are much more time consuming to acquire than anything else. These two items are Duck Feather and Red Cabbage. Duck feathers are dropped by ducks, what you will need a Big Coop to create on your farmso it may take some time to upgrade to that chicken coop and buy ducks by Marnie. The other most difficult item is red cabbage, which can only be grown in the summer of the second year since Pierre will not sell the seeds until then.

However, if you are lucky, they may get the red cabbage from the travel cart when he visits the forest near Marnie’s house. After these items, all other Dye Bundle requirements are easy to acquire. If you didn’t choose the Demetrius mushroom cave option, the Red Mushroom can be found in the Secret Woods in summer or autumn or in the Mines from levels 21 to 69.

Aquamarine can also be found in Minasbelow level 40, while Sunflowers are grown in summer and autumn. The simplest package to help animals

Marnie’s animal-themed forage pack is the easiest of any package to completeespecially if you chose fruit bats for your cave. Put planting wheat in summer or autumnYou can harvest the required ten sheaves of wheat and ten hay after your first harvest, after four days of farming. If you have a fruit bat cave, all you need to do is waiting for the bats to give you three apples.

However, if you chose the mushroom cave, you will need plant an apple tree at least in midsummer. Fruit trees take an entire season to grow and only produces fruit in a single season. After growing, the apple tree will grow one apple per day in the fall. It’s better to have an entire season for apple productionbut getting at least three (or four for the Crafting Pack) is key to finishing this pack.

How to complete the Enchanter pack

Just like the Dye Pack and the Chef Pack, the Enchanter’s Pack includes an item that requires an updated agricultural building. This item is the Rabbit’s Foot, which can only be found safely raising rabbits in a Deluxe Coop. In addition to the upgraded Coop, your Cooper needs the fruit bat cave or a pomegranate tree to pick up the only piece of fruit needed for the package. Just like the apples in the forage package, pomegranates produce fruit in autumn, so they should be planted no later than mid-summer.

Oak resin, like Chef Bundle’s maple syrup, can be produced by putting a Tapper on an oak tree and waiting seven days. Equally simple is Wine, which can be made by placing any fruit in a Barrel. This is also one of the best ways to earn money in Valley of the Stars.
