How to Enter the Underground Boxing Ring in Gizeh

A recurring parallel activity in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has the legendary adventurer searching a series of boxing rings across the world, facing increasingly difficult enemies in hand-to-hand combat. Not only are these boxing matches some of the most difficult combat challenges in the game, but they are also quite rewarding, with money and rare books that increase abilities at the end of each round. There is a boxing ring in each main area of the game. The first ring Indy finds is located in the Vatican; the second is in Giza.

However, before participating in any fight or claiming any reward, players will have to manage to enter each of the three boxing rings. Each one is quite specific about their membership, so you'll have to find the right type of disguise and then find a hidden entrance to enter. Here's what you need to enter the Gizeh boxing ring, specifically in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.

Where to find the underground boxing ring in Gizeh

Finding the ring

The Gizeh boxing ring, also known as the Knuckle Duster Den, can be found at the location noted above. That's it within the Gizeh village section of the areain the northeast part of the map. Starting in the market area, go up the stairs to the east and turn right. Look for the building with faded blue paint, covered with several Nazi propaganda posters to the left of the door, near the end of this block. To access the boxing ring, you will need to go down the stairs inside, where you will find a door with a small peephole. However, if you're not dressed for the occasion, you'll first need to find a disguise.

You should be able to find the Gizeh boxing ring once you unlock this area in the main campaign, during “The idol of Ra.” Whether you are able to start fighting, however, is a completely different question.

Where to find a Wehrmacht uniform

Entering the Gizeh Boxing Ring

To enter the Gizeh boxing ring, you will need a Wehrmacht uniform to blend in with the Nazi clientele. You'll find it near the Temple Excavation Site, located in the northern quadrant of the city. Again, you should be able to access this during “The idol of Ra.” If you encounter this first, you might want to get the Wehrmacht uniform before trying to get into the boxing ring.

Go to the approximate point indicated on the map above and you will see a small guard tower (pictured above). Go around it to the left, as shown in the image, and look up to find a place where you can hook your whip. Do this by pressing RB and then using the whip and wall (holding down RT and moving the left stick up) climb the tower.

Near the top, you'll be able to grab a ledge. While hanging, swipe right until you find an open window. Climb up and look for a nearby ladder. You'll want to go down to the ground floor of the tower, where you will find the Wehrmacht uniform on a table. Pick it up, but don't forget to pick up the Wehrmacht key next to it as well. While you don't need this to get into the boxing ring, it will open certain doors (literally) for you in Gizeh.

Wearing the right uniform can also help Indy get through restricted areas occupied by the Nazis.

Now, go back to Gizeh Village and the boxing ring. Press right on the D-Pad to see a list of disguises available to you and select the Wehrmacht Uniform. Go down the stairs and interact with the locked door. A Nazi will open the peephole, spend a moment inspecting you, and then lead you inside. Just like in the Vatican boxing ring, you will take part in a series of fights here. Win them all to win fabulous prizes, including skill books and cash.

And with that you know everything you need to enter the Gizeh boxing ring. The real challenge, however, is overcoming the internal struggles, as they can be quite difficult. Make ample use of food to increase your HP and stamina before the fight. When you beat all your opponents here, in the Vatican and in Sukhothai, you will receive the Tour de Force achievement to commemorate your boxing victories in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
